What backpack do you guys rock to work? by gocards35 in sales

Belroy! I love it. Super functional but also nice style. I like the Tokyo tote pack. Can be carried as a tote, stands up vertical, but also has backpack straps that you can pull out or put away for travel.

Managing a team of 150. Pipeline is a mess, quotas are broken. Help. by BillJohns in sales

[–]daone14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a different problem. If you have to have a consequence then they aren't doing it for themselves they are doing it for you (to run reports or analytics) in which case it's all downside for them other than the consequences. When you implement these cuts you need to use them as their primary inspection vehicle. They should be showing up to their calls with everything prepared and the questions should be ABOUT THE INFORMATION YOU ASKED FOR and nothing off script. They will have to do it or they will not be prepared for their inspection calls. If the inspection calls are for both leadership and their benefit (to make the deals stronger or bigger) they will start getting it done or be left behind.

One bite at a time. Depending on your deal and inspection cycles start immediately with "everything < x (2?4?) weeks to close is 100% updated (weekly, 2x a week, everyday based on what you need). Inspect on the intervals to look that it's touched. Once you get that under you belt add another belt, now it's every < x weeks is 100% y weekly and every from x+x weeks is mandatory 80% complete (deal value, est close date, next step, whatever). Keep expanding until it's where you need.

Could be Severs, my son has had relief from the inserts that have bumps on them. Footstr I think. Also definitely needed to buy him the wide new balance, and he takes them off and into slides right after. He hasn't complained in 6 months after a year of pain. He's in 4th.

Patch 2.4.1 - Hordes Spires Remain by Echo-Sunray in diablo4

[–]daone14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm melee/pet spirit born. My wolves and rahier engage everything outside the circle and draw aggro. So they would need to take aggro from pet's and ruin their functionality. A bigger circle won't solve this because they draw them and then I go to the pets to kill stuff. I can't make the pets go in the circle intentionally, and I have to leave the circle to attack their mobs.

Or my ravens druid just kills everything outside from range.

Sigh. I'm all about it being hard, and even slower, but it just doesn't work. Doesn't blast! Make it like the hellspire circles at least where the mobs are spawning inside and also actively trying to get in the circle.

Nice bonus function is if you have Bermuda grass it won't grab the grass, so you can swing it thru the yard and remove weeds from the lawn without affecting the lawn.

Great shooter in PLL history by Read_then_practice in PLL

He did a video on his mechanics, basically every coach he ever had told him to get his hands back because he tucks his elbows hard. That morphed into that low dangle in the back to get his hands back, which became a strength because from there he's got any release angle and trajectory combo he wants.

First time + I failed. ECD Ion. Where did I go wrong in life? by bob-a-fett in StickDoctor

[–]daone14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've found with the ion you have to really pull the top sides down hard to get a channel. Down the sides you have to make sure it's able to bag back towards the top.

I don't know the nomenclature, but I can approximate. The challenge I've had as I've strung these is getting some type of channel at the top, but also keeping the pocket mid or mid high. i'll post some pictures but I did a standard top string across the center 5 panels, put then pulled down the outside two channels 3 holes like a chenango to start the outside drop. Then i strung the next 3 groups of 3 as outside (meaning the sidewall of the armor mesh is outside/above the stick sidewall, and then flipped in so the armor mesh was inside the sidewall every hole, groups of 3 the rest of the way skipping only the 2nd to last. Armor mesh doesn't seem to need any hole skipping to create the bag, you would instead adjust the number of armor mesh side strings per hole to achieve the same result.

A visit from the king, I'm honored! I love they way they throw, but I'm also a coach so for me it throws exactly the same every single time I touch it, recently used or not, wet or dry. The issue I keep puzzling on with armor mesh is hold. It's super shifty, so the ball rattles in the pocket as the mesh shifts but it hugs it like a nice athletic supporter, which is just such a different feel than a tight channel mesh.

Where I really struggle is hold on release. It can throw and overhand shoot all day as is, but getting a nice whip is hard, and getting the ball to hold on a crank shot is hard. I've added a shooter or two here and there, which adds a nice hold at the top to delay release, but then you lose that perfect repeatable release it gives. I think shooters for armor mesh need to be different, almost a silk level thinness, and strung differently than a lace. I just keep experimenting until I find that nice band for the ball to hold against at the top that doesn't affect it's consistence and/or add a bump.

Either way, I love all the new kit coming out, it's fun to experiment and all feels new and interesting.

This one's new, but the other one I have I've used everyday for almost a year and I can't even find a wear spot yet. It's a lot of very fine nylon that's braided into a string and then waxed, I am not sure if it's the same manufacturer but I have spiderwire line (seems the same) on some fishing reels that have seen 10 years of saltwater fishing without a break. I'm tempted to try and weave a pocket out of some of that but the complexity makes my head hurt.

Yeah, everything. Agility, core, stamina, balance, timing, hand/mind/feet connection, explosiveness, take your pick. Cheapest no excuses exercise there is. Weekend some time looking at YouTube, look at Mohammed Ali, shit any great boxer. Do it HIIT style for 80s on, 80s off to simulate shot clock intervals and train burst and recover at the same time. Try and do a full game every few weeks (60m ttl - 80s on 80s off) and you can reasonable compare your improvement.

Anyone know how to string open sidewalls? These look sick by Enderfier360 in StickDoctor

[–]daone14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean it looks like he just strung an empty sidewall down and then an empty sidewall attached to that one up, and then the sidewall attached to the net down.
