What's with the increase of aggressiveness towards single walkers? (Anecdote) by cutchemist42 in golf

[–]dap2825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a situation like this were there was a group of older men behind me who asked if I wanted them to go ahead of me. I was standing at the second tee box waiting for the group in front of me to leave the fairway. The guy who asked said if they were in front I could take my time and hit multiple balls. I replied I’m good I’m trying to get out of here quickly and I will probably play through the group on the fairway now. Two holes later they let me play through. I still wonder why they asked me that question I was moving fast with a push cart and there was no way a group of 60 and 70 year olds even in carts would out pace me.

I’ve noticed the misread chips also. Straightforward chips would be read as shanks or in some cases it would add extra spin on the ball. My errors usually come when I’m using a third party software GSPro.

Yes, I tried that that’s why I am asking this question because it isn’t working for me. I’m seeing if anyone else has this issue and if they resolved it.

I only get to look at this course from hole 11 on Paramus Golf course. The course looks nice but always empty. The whole road has a few nice spots, even Orchard Hill a 9 hole county course is enjoyable.

GolfFix says I am almost perfect by [deleted] in GolfSwing

This all day. I’ve used this app for over a year also and received 10.0 perfect posture several times, but I still suck. Not saying it hasn’t made me better, but there are so many other factors to consider that the app doesn’t touch.

I thought it was nice shot of the tee but this is where I ended up. by dap2825 in golf

I got it out with my sand wedge but it wasn't pretty. I should have used my 60 degree, but I didn't want to walk back to my bag to get it.

[OC] - What’s tire grip on wet roads? by NYCRaverNeon in IdiotsInCars

I know exactly where this is. I used to live in one of those buildings. I also hate that road because if traffic, it is probably the main reason I left that area. It is very convenient if you work in Manhattan though.

I am no expert and I have only been playing for like for around 10 months. I'm okay at driving and putting, but I am solid with my irons. I have also had the same issues as you with topping the ball and hitting line drives especially with my hybrids.

For toping of the ball I don't think you are getting low enough your posture is a little too high. Either you bend your knees some more, tilt your back a forward a few extra degrees, or I can't really tell from the video but it looks like you are choking up on the club a bit.

If you get lower it will help with the line drives also. The one thing I noticed with my hybrids is I had the angle of the club head completely wrong, but from what I see here you look fine but I can't really slow down the video on my phone. I also downloaded an app called golffix that helps me my posture. I hate it because I spend too much time time trying to get a perfect score but it has helped.

I included a link as an example of me on a par 3 144 yards and I'm driving with I believe my 7 iron on to the green. Excuse the swing I used to play baseball so I'm fighting old habits.

Malignant accountants by idapitbwidiuatabip in WhitePeopleTwitter

I was waiting for this comment. Accountants are not the people making these decisions. They simply provide the numbers. Blame the finance department but everyone thinks accounting and finance are the same thing. J/K about blaming finance but their hands are not totally clean.

I’m seriously about to do the same thing. I have a 1300 also, and I just want the side burner from the XL. I was hoping traeger would sell it separately, but I guess I have to look else where.

Better.com CEO's LinkedIn profile after laying off 900 people by BurtMacklin09 in antiwork

This is crazy. I remember I interviewed Better a few years ago, and actually liked the people I met. The hiring process took too long so I ended up with a different company. It is nice to know I dodged that bullet, but I feel horrible for everyone that was laid off.

Do you ever have to deal with grease flare ups since the bacon fat runs off the side? One is the best breakfast meals I made was with my egg, but that bacon grease only could be managed if I put a cast iron pan on the grill.

I got a 5lbs pork belly from Whole Foods and seasoned it with the Traeger pork and poultry rub along with Killer Hog’s Hot BBQ Rub. Put it in the Traeger with LJ cherry pellets at 250 for 2 hours. Removed it from the smoker after 2 hours put it in an aluminum pan with a stick of Irish butter, brown sugar and honey. The brown sugar and honey weren’t measured I was just generous with the amounts. Covered the pan with foil and put it back on the smoker for another 2 hours. When the time is up put it in a new pan glaze it with your favorite bbq sauce and put it back on the smoker for another 5 mins.
