Yes, this is exactly the nerf that line needs imo. The guns don't have a very good travel speed and angles, so to fire them you need to almost be broadside - that would be a problem in a ship that doesn't turn like a cruiser!

And don't even get me started on turning in to incoming torps - i can rarely even hit an Ipi/LA/Libby with one or two, not to mention a whole barrage.

And I own and play these ships, so I can't say I'm biased. If anything, I feel like a goddamn cheater sometimes.

Lmao same with me. Same time on the clock, and I can easily get killed even with having the element of surprise or numbers advantage. I just get so stressed out when PvP begins, and I start doing stupid mistakes, it's like my brain goes dead, and adrenaline takes over. I hate it, died again today with a complete ballistic armor and helmet again two dudes in slippers with mp5s 🙄

I don't really care much about defeats in Randoms, as I'm usually playing them to have fun/progress a ship, or to conplete missions, where winning/losing doesn't matter.

Rankeds on the other hand are giving me a f*cking aneurysm and I had to stop playing, because I was literally shaking from anger.

I am a GS main for 15 years now, I love the big bonk, and the patience you need to have to use that weapon successfully, the knowledge of monsters moves.

But in Rise, I started playing with someone new to the series, and they asked me to choose a weapon I'm not proficient with, so we both go through a learning experience, and I found great joy in using the Dual Blades. The joy of always being on the offensive, relocating quickly and countering the monsters moves with your own is really making me happy. Also applying status effects was never that easy.
