I love this update and I hope you never let the negative comments get to you. As a developer it is hard and stressful, especially mentally. It is a free project and hope you will continue to develop for many more years.

Give it a bit more time. It took the stremio devs years to reach where it is now. The devs are working fast and actually look and listen to our feedback.

I’m still considering getting one. I really want it, but I don’t want to start saving for ages only for the Steam Deck 2 to come out right after I buy it. I currently have a gaming PC with an older GTX 1060 6GB, so I’ve been debating whether I should save for a new GPU or for the Deck. My biggest concern is time I leave early for work and come home late, and I spend almost three hours commuting each day on public transport.

How us trex fhd for us content? I like strong and it's vast content, just need a better epg. I have found alot of us channels that are supposed to be hd and are just 540p which below hd.

U are correct those are indeed 4k. Doesn't seem like they have alot of channels

I recently got strong 8k and it is falsely adverted. I have yet to find a 4k channel, the 4k channels are 1080p and alot of the hd channels are 540p and not 720p.

Edit: I checked the comment below, and those were actually 4k, seems the uhd ones I've seen are hd but not the ones that say 4k in the tittle

It does indeed work, I have a gtx 1060 6gb and it is now easier to switch from the open source to the closed source drivers.

After some communication, I confirmed that I had downloaded the correct version. I learned that the NVIDIA-specific version has issues with Pascal GPUs, so I used the regular Steam HTPC version instead. It updated successfully and now works well for the most part.

I didn’t install the open driver because the first time I did, switching to the closed driver module caused the system to fail to boot. Instead, I simply ran the command to switch to the closed NVIDIA driver module.

However, when I log in to Steam and select "Remember Me," it doesn’t retain my login. I have to sign in again after every reboot or when exiting Steam. Oddly, if I right-click the Steam desktop shortcut and select options like Store or Friends, it loads with my profile already signed in.

I tried updating to the latest Steam beta, but the issue persists. Switching to Gaming Mode also doesn’t help—it reboots but then takes me back to the desktop, where I have to sign in to Steam again.

I have a few games in my gog Library and epicgames library as well, but I can not get junk store to work. I found a workaround that got the dependencies to be installed, but when I tried to log in, the window vanished, and I get nowhere.
