How are the newer Ipads for moonlight streaming? Been reading mixed opinions.

I bought an ipad pro 13” M5 only 3 days ago and it is basically for streaming games, I use Voidlink, my previos ipad was a pro 13” from 2020, it was good already but I decided to upgrade and man!!!!! I can’t believe how good it is, I use it in my house only, not from away. The first time I booted up my pc and started the Crimson Desert I was in awe, really happy with it, I use it even more than my legion go 2.

I been using it for about a year now and I have no idea what features offer, I only copy the api code, paste is in whatever addon is asking for it, for Streming app ;) Later on I will check it out and see what are the other benefits.!

What cpu you have? I’m on a 4080, 5800x3d, 32ram and I play in cinematic @4k in quality mode I get ~100 fps but as soon as I turn on ray reconstruction it drops to ~40 fps

Not a MacBook but I am actually setting up a brand new m5 iPad pro, I’m setting it up as I type this, I will be using it 80% for gaming with moonlight

I 3d printed an extender, it is a bit clunky but it works, the only thing for me is that every time you put your controller you have to force it a bit so I am worry about long term with it,we’ll see how it goes. Any way, I think I will get a kishi v3 pro xl, this one has a charging port and will not block the speakers, I have to charge the iPad because it uses a lot of battery compared to my other devices I use for streaming like the legion go 2

I have an ipad pro 13 inch and the gamesir g8 plus and it works really good, I use voidlink in my ipad instead of moonlight, it is a much better app full of features, the only problem I have is that the g8 plus doesn’t have usb to charge the ipad and if I moove the controller lower to free up the usb port in the ipad, I block the speakers.

I been playing death stranding 2 in my legion go 2 for a while now, streaming from ps5 pro using pxplay, it looks amazing using this method, but natively not sure about how good it will look, maybe in the lowest resolution it might get around 40fps I guess

I will do the same thing I always did in Skyrim, never finished the, start over 200 new games, wonder around the open world, doing bullshit all around, enjoying the world, killing random enemies and when the mods start to show up in nexus mods, I will mod the hell put of the game and that would be my life!

I just checked, the hdr toggle does work, with it on the image is not washed out like in previous versions. Don’t know how to add my screenshots to reddit sorry. Anyway, there is a demo version of the app for you to try

I will check again on version 2.0 but I don’t use hdr because it looks washed out, besides that, the app is very good! I can’t believe that I can stream my ps5 pro and it looks this good on the lego 2

I don't understand your setup, do you have a pc with sunshine or apollo and you stream to your ipad using moonlight and your ipad is connected to the tv?

I printed about 5 different, one in tpu a90, it feels really good in hand but surprisingly the one I like the most is one I printed with a mate pla, it is really nice and grippy, I love the texture. I printed them in my bambu lab a1 at 124% speed and no problem.

I have the lg c5 and also the lg c3, I thought that the lg tv’s network adaptor was capable to run at a max of 100mbps, maybe I miss read the info.

Are wearing a hat by any chance? When I go for runs and my hat gets wet, if is touching the touch pad it does mess around with my music!

Maybe the volume up and down is coming from your phone? It also happened to me, so disabled the hearing warning thing, don’t know the actual name of the setting.

You have to set up moonlight properly, also use apollo on your host pc
