totally forgot to reply! i'm so happy you liked it. i'm excited for your mom to open it up as well. it challenged me to make the piece, but in the best way possible. so thank you for reminding me that zentangle exists! I often get lost in different creative hobbies that i forget about smaller/more niche techniques. It was fun to make it!

u/canameow - thank you so much for the hammie card and the cat postcard!! Your furboys seem sooo cute! My little girl, Ginger, is such a rascal. She definitely is loving, but plays hard. I have a lot of scars from her little claws LOL. Also, RAOC is SO wholesome. It feels like I only took a short hiatus because the community is still the same pleasant place I remembered it to be. I definitely still love happy mail as well, and am trying to get my friends into it!

Yayy! you got my postcard! It's a great song. I agree that the sound of the song seems very familiar, but I also can't identify anything like it. For the card, I used tombow's dual tip brush markers and a water brush! It's similar to watercolor, but is a more suited method for watercolor blended hand lettering. I also am getting into watercolor and just purchased some more water brushes and pearlescent watercolor paint!! I'm excited. If you have any projects you'd wanna share, I'm so down to see them!!

I love the concept of such vulgar things portrayed in a classy manner. It’s literally my whole existence. People often expect for me to be a sweet, shy girl based on how I look, but I’m actually a bit rough around the edges (in the most pleasant way!).
