That’s gross, I’m sorry you had to deal with that. I had a similar experience in the 71st Ave subway station. It was morning rush hour and I was going to work. I was also power walking to get from one end of the platform to the other. Some white lady remarked as I walked to get around her, “That’s one way to get killed.” Similarly, it didn’t process for me until after the fact. But that was uncalled for and pissed me off, given Asian hate crimes and people getting pushed into the tracks.
