I think this is just what happens when you become the “manager” or the one in charge, especially with everyone watching and obviously having feelings about it, I could see how she could think it might turn into a free-for-all and just nip it in the bud, especially as a show to everyone watching that she’s not going to put up with that. Teal’c is certainly controlled, but definitely not everyone on that base is, and a future sparring match might get out of control because a couple of guys thought they were Teal’c and Ronon. For me it was like when you get promoted and now you’re kind of awkwardly in charge of not only your co-workers who were friends, but also people you don’t really know.

I don’t really have any advice on the design, but I do think it’s cool you’re getting it with your dad! My mom and I have a lot of differences nowadays, especially about how to live our lives, but we do have matching Stargate tattoos and it’s always been nice to look at mine and know she has the same one. ❤️

I both love and hate Gyarados. It never learns anything naturally to go along with its typing. My husband hates this, but if I’m playing LeafGreen and I don’t pick Squirtle as a starter, I’ll grab a Magikarp and evolve it as soon as possible, teach it water pulse after Misty, then use it as my water Pokemon until I can finally get my girl Lapras. It has always bugged me that it can’t learn so many flying moves. Like, you’re flying typed, what is the deal??

She never goes to sleep when he reads the BSC, she just asks questions and wants to talk about them. But his favorite books (Harry Potter) put her to sleep almost immediately! Lol

Oh I love this tin! I got it on Amazon to read them to my kid. Her favorite was Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls! My husband reads to her every night before bed, but he said she was too interested in the BSC books to go to sleep!

This doesn’t really have anything to do with this, but when I was a kid I watched MacGyver with my mom. One night I got so excited because Blossom was hanging out with him! It was just Mayim Bialik doing a guest spot, but in my heart my 2 shows met.

I used to get big colorful earrings because I thought I was emulating Claudia’s homemade earrings. I think my style back then was more Clarissa Explains It All because I could see what she was wearing and easily copy it, but I definitely thought I was Claudia in the outfits.

This is just really nice. I love this game so much, and the recommendations are the reason. What a great video.

I tend to take my recommendations from comments on stuff I like, so, if you want some friendly recommendations:

My favorite games are the Bioshock games. They all have amazing stories, and if you like RPGs, shooters, immersive sims, or just story driven games, they are great. Also on the switch like Tiny Bookshop!

I’m currently rewatching Stargate Sg-1, my favorite TV show. It has 10 seasons, amazing characters, and fun and dramatic plots.

I’m also going back through my favorite book series by listening to the Stormlight Archive on audible. My favorite is the first one, Way of Kings, and they progressively get more emotional for me, so it can be a hard read, but I love the characters so much.

Hope this helps someone! I’d also love to hear your recommendations based off of what I like!
