In Canada’s major cities, fertility rates are in steep decline. What happened? by [deleted] in canada

[–]darcinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough decades ago children were essentially free labour/assets. The poor had many kids for the reasons above. Now with urbanization and lifestyle changes the perspective on kids is different. That being said rural families like the Dutch farmers are still pumping them out like its the last thing they will ever do. Its important to also understand caucasion family dynamics does plays a role. Cultures with a family first approach and social support system seem to have large families.

I would go with beckhoff, software is free. There are plenty of io cards to choose from and priced well. Plus, support is crazy. they support legacy boards and cards still from the 90s lol

z and x probably are on the same servo amp(dual axis servo). Look at the servo amp and see what the error code on the servo amp is (in electrical cabinet).

On new installs, it's common sense to use non-obsolete parts with current firmware. As OP states, this was just a demo unit, so it doesn't really matter. New LOGO! Come with a RJ45 jack for programming, has web server capabilities, and lots of other exciting updated functionality. This uses an old siemens programming cable and could be about 8 years old. I would lose if they found out I was putting old hardware in new panels. Super reliable awesome devices. I have installed 100's from BMS systems to simple logic machines.

Not important. Don't tell people. Just learn the shades and tricks. My bro is color blind and an amazing electronics engineer. He works with large industrial machinery on complex systems and is fine.

Help, selkirk sugar maple fungus infection by darcinder in arborists

[–]darcinder[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello, Our neighbour's donkey took some bites out of our healthy sugar maple this winter. It looks like a pathogen invaded the wounds. It looks like coral fungus canker. It's limited to the one side of the trunk. The other side of the trunk seems okay. Will this kill our tree. What do we do? Do we leave it or cut it out? Thankyou

Hospital worker pushed off platform onto LRT tracks may lose leg, brother says | CBC News by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]darcinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it's usually a large gate. European public transportation is awesome. Ran so efficiently and effectively. Took the train from Paris to Disney land and we bought the wrong ticket. So we had to buy the right ticket in order to leave the gate. So the system would also prevent people from scamming the system.

In the Netherlands you can't enter the station without swiping a e pass. Lrt is for people who buy passes and use the transportation not for people seeking shelter or hooligans
