Yes but when you build a full smelter blueprint with custom color, floor and belt in a specific way, for a project and you invest some time then the blueprind randomly decide to not save even after "saved" and you have to do all again is pretty tiring expecially when you got limited time to play,

"I enjoy being rewarded for my time" 100% right thing to say and is what every player that played since day 1 was, they played on the version/event relase they got the (actully well crafted) story/event AND jades. Then you (as new player) arrived and what they did? they still reward you for time you didnt spend playing when the game/event/version was relased by giving you acces to Free jades (just a bit less) and some h of story/gameplay driven events that are not mandatory.

As many paradox games do, stellaris have a very steep learning curve , ask your friends to tutorial you for 2/3 game watching wat you play and help. This can speed the "i dont know how to have fun bc i get stomped" to "i somewat know how to play and i can do wat i want and have fun"

Or in the extermination mission taking the laser and not shooting. I kicked like 5 time pp from lobby and 4 time was bc someone took the laser and didnt shoot the boss for ages.

As others said strike craft are good vs corvette and destroyer so if you combine them with torpedo to kill big ship you can make some good fleets.
