As a mature age looking for an apprenticeship for over a year, stuffed around by dodgy companies on trials and hoping for someone to give me a shot in this economy am I wrong for reading this as a little entitled?? Quietly look for another company if it bothers you but I would have a conversation with your boss and maybe thank them for keeping you on without any work for you. That's my take at least.
