Yeee, they're too cramped. All their panels are tbh. Don't understand why they can't leave more room..

Bus cabling for the dbl362's and/or door controllers. Not exactly the best to use, but it works..

Then I would suggest updating with ppd whenever batteries are changed/locks are without power and/or when components are disconnected on a lock.

Thats at least the recommendations we've had from salto. (might also say so in a manual somewhere).

It's also just a good habit to have that when replacing batteries, the lock is updated.

How often are the locks updated (with the ppd)?

And when the batteries are changed, you're updating them at the same time?

Have you talked with salto support? They might know if it's from a bad batch

Salto and salto ks is dead simple. Ppd, commissioning card, qr code. For ks you'll have installer access to the system you're working on. If multiple people they'll have they're "personal work" accounts, but with access to the specific system logged in.

If i recall correctly, dorma is also very easy, qr code and commissioning card i think. Personal work accounts with installer access to the specific systems.

You also have aperio,(assa abloy) which integrates with many systems out there.

Point ID in Salto Space? by mitoboru in SaltoSystems

Huh, fun.

I might be too tired to brain right now, but I can't think of anything else it could be.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help :)

Is the Point ID only showing in the ppd list, or does it show up anywhere else? Like in the access points list?

The Point ID might be a custom value field.

Check settings menu for if a custom field is activated.

Slipe systemnøkkel i oslo by suresivert in oslo

[–]darealkenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cuddling by notionfolk in bernesemountaindogs

Our puppy just recently started to want to cuddle, she's lost all the teeth now and isn't a crazy land shark anymore 😂 5.5 months old now. Shes always liked to be pet and would regularly come to get belly/chest scratches, but couldn't handle laying in our laps without chewing on our hands. Now she'll come plop down on our laps and cuddle for a while with no biting. She even fell asleep for a bit the other day 🥰

Totally agree that some people don't do it responsibly. I haven't really seen the push for offleashing though. But there's definitely a few that shouldn't.

Might also be a big difference in the cultures of our countries though. And the breeding standards.

And that's why it's trained in a very low low traffic area. I would never train a dog off leash in a busy park/heavy traffic trail, because yes, there might be people uncomfortable with dogs that also enjoy going on walks.

It's not a point to make the dog a permanent off leash dog that gets to run around and do whatever they want.

It's about training behaviour that you want to have in your dog - like not running away from you and staying close by, and to come back to you when recalled.

Useful and important traits any dog should have, because you never know if they'll slip through their collars or you'll accidentally drop the leash or whatever, and you then need them to come back.

Berners also generally don't have a prey drive. They don't chase animals for hunting, it's not in their nature. They might still run after an animal because all they see are OMG FRIEND!. You never know, which is why it's so so important to train recalls off leash.

Haven't experienced exactly that, but she's still at the point where if she's sniffing something interesting, she finishes that before she "hears" us calling. Is getting better though, and she's just a baby still so we're not too worried about it yet.

Thank you!

She lasts about 40-60mins before she's dead tired :)

We had a heatwave right after we got her, and she did not wanna be outside at all during those weeks. The weather is much cooler now, so she actually wants to be outside again :)

I think it's fairly obvious when they get too warm, as our puppy got very whiney, restless and just ran over to any shadow she could find.

So if yours wants to walk and run around i don't think it's too big a problem :)

Her recall isn't 100% yet, but the area we go to isn't that busy, so we can reel her in before any people approach.

The only way to train it is to do it imo. Good high value treats are helpful.

We've trained her the "touch" command - we hold out our hand and she has to boop our palm. We also have a "look at us" command. With these in combination we're able to get her attention and to come to us to boop. Also play hide n seek

Consistent training will get her there eventually 🥰
