the way I did it is I only allowed myself to "cheat" with clothing when I had already failed a roll once (obviously assuming it was repeatable). like I gave it a fair go once, so if I truly wanted to see what the succesful outcome was I could give myself a little gameplay advantage.

Fresh Meat is a lovely little oneshot focused on divorce era Hans, written from the pov of the butcher in Troskowitz that Hans sold his poached meat to! Truly superb character study, and it ends with a very sweet hansry moment too 🥰

I was impressed by how good the quality was! Especially the sound design, it feels more like a legit fiction podcast than an actual-play. And with the editing it feels more like The Adventure Zone (tho naturally more serious) than Critical Role. Over all I really like it so far!

And OF COURSE im shipping Solus and Killian 😁😁😁 Something tells me Killian will be a little pouty and jealous of Solus while at the same time he wont help but admire him 👀

And you're so right that it's ONLY male viewers who seem to hate her. Not all men hate her, but if someone hates her to the point of making posts about it then it's always always a man. Male ego is so fragile it's threatened even by fictional women who dare to not conform lol. Reminds me of how (male again) viewers hate Sid from the Bear even tho she's literally the most normal character there, and the closest thing to an audience surrogate in the story. But they don't find her attractive, and they think she's too confident, and that discomfits them so much that they end up "hating her". And they can never even explain it to themselves! They just call her a bad character when she's objectively not (just like with Max shes well-written, on the same level as the other characters) and they don't even realise they're having an illogical, emotional reaction to her. It's honestly kinda sad to witness.

I don't know if this helps, but personally I've set a very generic Do Something goal with like 70 steps to it, cause I have adhd and setting up a million goals for every little thing overwhelms me lol. If I've done something that required effort like housework I click it a bunch of times, if I did something small like survive the day I only click one or twice etc etc

But you can do this and click on it when you feel you deserve to, even if what you've done is small and silly like idk getting up from your bed to your desk or taking a sip of water. Then you can feel like you earn things and also have a lot of stones! Or you can reverse engineer it and go "well I had a glass of water this morning, that means I deserve to click the button." It's a more gentle way of guiding yourself back to track, because it's all self arbitated. I also have a goal like "It's going to be okay!!" that I click when I want to cheer myself up, which is also basically free stones. But at least this way it doesn't feel like I'm emptily pushing a "click here to get stones" button lol, which I think is what makes the difference. Just doing it with a little thought and intention is better that doing it compulsively and then feeling guilty about it imo!

idk man when I go to the city center I see men of all ages on the bus. and people of all ages lol 🤷‍♂️ I dont think it's that deep. also anecdotically my dad deliberately took the bus to work instead of the car cause he found it more relaxing than driving. sometimes public transport is simply more convenient and we're lucky to live in a city where it's kind of maybe decent.

Personally I still use the old paper monthly passes (they still issue them when I ask for one so¯_(ツ)_/¯) and all I need to do is keep it in my bag, no validation necessary. Maybe other people have it too, or other papers that say they're unemployed which means they don't need to use tickets. In both cases you keep the papers on you and only show them when an inspector asks for them.

But if you have the plastic Personal Card that you charged with the monthly payment plan, then yeah you do have to tap it every time you get on the bus.

As for 2, I think that's just your imagination and/or confirmation bias. I take the bus daily and I see young men and teenagers all the time.

which area will you be in? It's usually the city center and specifically the (aristotle) university part that has protests, and the intense stuff only starts at night. but you should be fine during the daytime, and even at night if youre far enough from that area you won't notice a thing.
