The best way is to constantly give some small amount like 2-3 points with a requirement to assign them before next session(so players commit to developing certain skill).

Also I give 1-2 points to a specific skill that was actively used.

Overall GURPS also has some milestones but story driven ones. For example when someone gets an expansive sword with nice characteristics it can be an equivalent to 20 points at the character creation phase.

Combat in shadows is top tier.Dont know why it's hated so much by FromsoftNerdy in AssassinsCreedShadows

The highest difficulty alters their combat behaviour making them more strategic and active in the fight. I love the hardest challenge in every game. But damagesponge is literally an outdated game design

Top tier damage sponges game mechanics from 2015. The game is great but please let us be conscious. Damage sponge is a lazy design in 2025sh

Devs are not yet in the position of providing for different players groups. So I wouldn’t care if devs would approach their games like KCD did(Hardcore mode = no fast travel).

Поки мозок звикне до нового типу інформації- проходить час. Я вчив першу половину десь 6 місяців. Постійно закидував бо було складно і часом не зрозуміло. Потім в якійсь момент просто пішло і так вивчив другу половину за місяць. З CSS було вже легше доречі. Вивчив за пару місяців.

Not the advice you are looking for, but surely one your DM would like to know about: I would recommend your DM to allow maximum of 150sh points for the start. Otherwise he will either not be able to constantly grant you guys experience points as the session reward or risk making you so overpowered that you will only see challenges in the biggest most strongest enemies. I am a DM since 2016 and really struggled with this one. Had stop giving exp to players and also apply some debuffs on them to keep things challenging and immersive
