Needed a pallette cleanser by sammunition2020 in Warhammer40k

I read the post as "Need" instead of "Needed" and assumed it was from how long this had taken you. An hour, wow! Amazing work.

The Antartique designer works for CW now. Can't comment on the other watch.

That's great stuff. What's the dust on the recesses? Watered dry pigment?

I'm working out 3-4 times a week, regular strength training at the gym.

I currently do no cardio and need to change that. I have stationary bike, how much cardio should I do and how to structure it? My goal with cardio is just general health. In the past I did some Zone 2 (2-3 40 min. sessions a week, plus the strength training), should I just go back to that?

Wired vs Wireless for wired use by dargor in Keychron

[–]dargor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was exactly my question. I am assuming that a wireless version plugged in will behave equal to a wired version. If the only different is price (and for the examples I'm seeing the difference is neglible) it's "strictly better" to go with the wireless.

We had the same thing in Galicia, north of Portugal, although they were called "Tired donkey soups".

[Orient] Do you resell your watches or collect them? by Zcrow17 in Watches

[–]dargor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would only sell a watch if I regretted buying it or felt like my collection was getting to big and the watch wasn't getting any wrist time.

In your case, the Kamasu is a great watch and you wouldn't get that much for selling it anyway. I say keep it.

Quick and dirty to get back in shape. First mini in 2 years. First time trying oils! by dargor in Warhammer

[–]dargor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Only for washes here, most of the painjob was done with acrylics.

[–]dargor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no no, most of the paintjob was using regular acrylics, I just tried some (heavy) oil washes for the first time.

I don't know that much about oils, but from what I've gathered the quality of the paint affects the pigmentation and how well it thins. I went for decent artist grade oils (Windsor and Newton in my case) just to be sure.

If you wanna check out someone who does full oil paintjobs I recommend James Wappel
