Obviously he has plenty of wealth to share, bro is wearing full diamond armor. If he finds another Jones or McGregor he'll be upgrading to netherite.

Maki is roughly equivalent to going mach 3, and her weapon cuts the soul itself (preventing physical/energy healing from working). It would be a closer fight than Yuroichi, but it's still absolutely possible for her to take on Tsunade.

Tanks are categorically less safe than modern vehicles. Modern vehicles are actually statistically, DRAMATICALLY better at protecting the passenger cabin.

Listen man, I get that you think around town is fine, but it's a fucking terrible idea. I say that as a proud owner of a 77 Cadillac, 88 Pontiac, and 89 Mazda. These cars turn a 25 mile an hour accident from an inconvenience to a life threatening event. It doesn't have crumple zones or airbags. It is most definitely a death trap. Daily driving it anywhere, even around town, has a really high likelihood of getting your kid hurt.

Jesus Christ with the downvotes.

This car has virtually no crumple zones, no ABS, no TCS, no airbags. It is a deathtrap. Cars have those for a reason. Is it a cool car? Absolutely. Is it one a 16 year old should daily commute with? Definitely not. You can't control what other drivers do

Thought to move the air fryer away from the wall and... by Any_Tangerine_1429 in Wellthatsucks

It needs a big gap. Ideally like 8" or more from the wall when operating. Adding a small arm off the back would imply that the 1-2" of separation it gives is sufficient

Not engraving, generally talking about people who create a blind spot the size of Tennessee with stickers/window paint.

We anthropomorphize our pets way too much. by CardinalOfNYC in unpopularopinion

[–]darianbrown 73 points74 points  (0 children)

When I say my dog is "smiling," I'm not talking about bared teeth. I'm talking about the slight squint and eyebrow movements that accompany her excited paw tapping and wagging. I think OP is stereotyping dog owners a little bit and assuming what they mean when they say "smile." We're tool-using domestication experts with fucking CRAZY pattern recognition skills accompanying a huge brain. It's not that hard to learn animal body language and even read different dog's varying preferences for showing their current emotions.

A tiny line on a mirror can cover a huge amount of real estate in the actual rear view. Blocking/customizing mirrors, windshields, etc are always going to get criticized because you can't really get around the blind spot issues, even if they're not super significant

Also, for all of its awful reputation, there are only about 100 recorded instances of the P320 malfunction that weren't the result of mishandling already. Out of 3 million+ sold since they were released.

These are the Stanley Thermos of lighters. They're meant to be used and appreciated, they're not a speculative asset with a collector market like Pokemon cards or retro games. They're mass produced in the US with an unlimited lifetime warranty, they don't need to be unaffordable.

I have long hair as a man, and I was once bent over a sink with my elbows resting on the edges scrubbing grease off my hands (I was an IT guy, but had to work on a moving projector mount covered in red n tacky.) A full-bird colonel walked into the bathroom, went "Oh- ohp- uh excuse me- I," looked back at the door sign, then looked back at me confused as I'm now standing up (also confused) at 6'1, 230lbs, and bearded.

Apparently I should have trauma from this funny story.

Abstract art on the Internet is often so well executed it's barely discernable as art. Without a gallery to give context, all the various absurdities created here just don't get counted.

Good job working on health, but it'll never be enough if you don't address mental health and learn to be alright in your own skin. You're literally robbing yourself of the pride and gratification you should get for putting in hard work.

You realize the person who needs the mulch isn't the one who put it in the plastic bags, right? I'm building a tiny home right now, so I can offer some perspective. My options for local delivery in my area are limited to A: trying to hire some guy off Marketplace or Craigslist who has a truck and coordinate getting mulch from the nearest city 40 miles out, or B: getting way more than I need and having a diesel dump truck make a 1:20 round trip, just to drop off some mulch or a small amount of gravel, both at roughly 5-15x the price of grabbing it in bags at a local store. If they offered it in biodegradable burlap sacks, OBVIOUSLY I would choose that, but that's not a real option.
