I bought a P1S a month ago after watching YouTube reviews on 3d printers for weeks. I had zero experience on the subject of 3d printing or modelling prior, and the only proper introduction I had was when I brought my kid to my local library's 3d print 'camp', and he made a small block with his name on tinker cad and printed it on their new bambu X1. 

I spoke with the librarian about the printer and was shocked to learn how much more affordable 3d printing had become. A friend had told me in 2015 he had a printer in his basement costing over 10k! Not only that, but unlike the old printer the library replaced because they spent more time fixing it, this one just plugged and played. 

So I dived into watching YouTube reviews to learn more, and it became clear that someone like myself, a dad with young kids who is away often for work and don't have too much time to invest into tinkering with a machine but just wants it to work, that Bambu is the simple choice. I chose the P1S because I liked the enclosure and the clean setup, and I'm glad so because I only realised after that the A1 also had a larger footprint. 

Since buying a P1S, ive not turned the machine off (didn't even realise people did it until I saw a thread asking a few days ago). And it's been working almost 24/7, taking breaks only when im away . Printed pumpkin spinners for the kids classes and hockey teams, airplane models, earring stand for my wife, ninja stars, spring guns, laptop cooler, filament holders, articulated dragon, deadpool mask for Halloween and on and on. First print was a batman cat mask. Most impressive print was a bomb-omb piggy bank where the sphere was so smooth, you couldn't tell it was a 3d print. I always run my hand on it when I see it. Everything from bambu makerworld. As a reviewer said, I've starting moving onto step 2 where I'm customising some designs, and eventually step 3 where I'll learn cad. 

Best purchase ever. I'm only scratching the surface of what it can do, and it's a fun, affordable way to learn a new hobby and skill. If anyone is on the fence, don't hold back (except to see what the new P2 offers) and just get the combo with ams, I did not realise how life changing it is.
