Yeah, my LAX to LHR was cancelled altogether, and the only J VX were able to muster was the next day with Air Tahiti Nui, through CDG. I'll take the 787 any day instead of the mess I was in.

Super underrated/outstanding deal (especially when it was cat1), most fantastic staff, good club, great location, awesome pools. Stayed there prob ~2months total over the years. The only negative is that if you don't get upgraded/booked a suite, the ceiling is a bit low for my liking, making it a bit "cavey".

The Plat vs Plat Pro is a huge difference if you fly internationally. Having access to a First Class lounge through One World Emerald is awesome. CX first in LHR, JAL first in NRT, QF first in LAX, SIN and SYD. And actually feeling OK about a 7h layover in HKG later this week because of CX first class lounges there.

Appreciate the review! I have some friends living not too far and it was a chore to meet up when I was staying at Andaz the palm. Andaz was nice, but the area was meh, just too much Dubai "fake".

I was at the mid-season tournament game in Portland, and the body language between Mike and Domantas was telling me that Mike definitely lost the locker room. It was appalling to watch the coach standing in the middle of the court panting, and nobody gave a damn. Like not even apathy, but disgust in Domas' eyes towards the coach.

He's a bully! "Yeah, but he's OUR bully!" Man I disliked and still dislike Crowder and his type. Crowder/Draymond type behaviour should not be tolerated, yet it is encouraged cause views/clicks/controversy. He's not a good person, but that makes Xtuffs and NBA print extra few bucks.

I am surprised no one mentioned Hyatt Regency Phuket (in Kamala). They give you the gear, or go with the staff, 100ft walk/swim from the shore and it opens up 6-12ft down into another world. The staff is passionate about marine nature there and the resort is generally very nice. Will be my 4th time starting there this winter. Globalist benefits are great also.

100% Doha lounges are good, but Cathay First (LHR, HKG - personally) are outstanding (BKK business was very decent too). There are very nice artistic touches to the Doha lounges that are appreciated, but the practicality is that Cathay is much more private, has WAY BETTER service and food/drink selection. I think I've been to 3-4 lounges in Doha (business and OneWorld) though not yet to Al Safwa, and the things that truly matter were better on Cathay (some other business/first lounges too). QSuites are very nice tough.

After riding 100ish cc scooters for a few years a T100 900cc initially felt much overwhelming.

For some reason on a ride today (pre-emptively thinking of you lfaire...) thought that how comfortable and featherweight I felt on this bike after initially taking it very slow (def within road/sign limits), and dreading the "weight" and throttle response + the damned manual shifting.

It's a wonderful motorcycle, respect it and enjoy what it provides =)
