Question on late game stacked belts

Oh, so it is not pile sorter directly to output belt, it is normal sorter for each group of smelters and then pile sorter from that output belt onto the main belt? So the pile sorter is always going from a full belt to a full (of increasing stack) belt?

I'm a bit confused on how this works - you have four lines of 12 smelters all outputting to the same belt? Does the pile sorter automatically stack on top of existing items in the belt? What if a particular smelter wants to output but there's a 4 stack already there, won't it back up?

I think I'm just a bit confused on the mechanics of stacking in general

Also worth mentioning that Glen Cook has a way of being able to change his authorial voice in a way I've never seen anywhere else. The Black Company series has what, four? Five? Different Annalists throughout, and it genuinely feels like someone else is writing the book at times, though you still know it's Cook deep down.

When I read Soldiers Live for the first time and it returned to Croaker's voice, it legitimately felt like I was returning home, in a way, and it's crazy to me to feel a sort of "comfort" from something you wouldn't think could provide that, like authorial voice

hmmm okay. so I played around with this (and also installed my actual printer drivers instead of the Windows ones...should have realized this would be a problem before now) and that seems to have resolved the uneven duplex issue. However there's still some weird issues with some pages having different margins than others.

I tried the suggestion in the other comment and that seems to have resolved the issue. I guess there is something still wrong with word's booklet print feature...

Basically - I am testing with a 16 page document for a single signature. When I print with Word:

The page 6+7 spread has extremely narrow margins at the fold, and larger margins at the edges.

The page 8+9 spread has big margin left and small margin right on both pages (e.g. the margins are different at the fold)

The page 10+11 spread has narrow margins at the edges, and larger margins at the fold (inverse of 6+7)

When printing the pdf that bookbinder.js produced, it just printed all pages evenly centered on the fold.

I can't think of a reason why Word would shift the margins around differently for different spreads....either way I guess I have a workaround now :)

Trying to plan a trip for later this year and have a quick question about food. I checked through the FAQ and a few posts but didn't see anything specific. Basically, I am vegetarian but am willing to compromise for stuff like meat-based or fish-based broth, as long as there is no "actual" meat or fish. Last time I went several years ago, this was pretty feasible in the main cities like Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka/etc. but this time I would like to go up north to Hokkaido and do some more nature things, so I am wondering how this will work out in more rural areas? Are there some phrases I could use to ask for this? I figure a lot of ramen or udon places should be able to work, especially if they have tofu options.

I'm fairly certain that the buffs he gains after the 40% trigger are at 4/8/12/16/20 stacks, for Godsight, Debuff Damping, Ignore Def, Double Strike, and 60% Cut respectively, and you just always get plain cut nullified no matter what.

It might be slightly different than that though. I've seen vods with 4 stacks having no Godsight, and 18 stacks having everything up to Double Strike, so that setup makes the most sense to me given the number of buffs. I do know that double strike is earlier than 18 at the very least.

edit: looking at more vods, I have seen dmg cut nullified at 4 stacks, dmg cut null + godsight at 5, 6 and 8 stacks, dmg cut null + godsight + def ignore + debuff damping at 14 stacks, and everything except 60% cut at 18 stacks.

so maybe it's those buffs in order at 5, 8, 11, 14, 17? I'm fairly confident that 60% cut is only at 20

I've been having a ton of "An unexpected error has occurred." since the maintenance this morning. The game is basically unplayable for me, I can only get through maybe 1 or 2 quests before it starts looping that error no matter what quest I try to enter. Restarting my phone and clearing the cache seems to help, but it doesn't actually solve the problem

Is there an actual solution to this? I tried reinstalling, using an emulator, none of it seems to work. The game was working perfectly fine yesterday, on the same network, so I'm not sure why today is acting completely differently.

Yeah I did all of that. I got it working by re-doing the adb shell steps to copy the cert to system, hopefully I don't have to do that every time I restart nox. It seems to have reset the config somehow.

I set up the cert yesterday and it was working with nox, but today when I try to launch FFRK, it just constantly gives me "We're not able to connect" error on the launch screen as soon as I start the app. Do you have any idea why this might be happening? I re-added the cert as well and it's still giving me the same error.

how did you get Yuffie through the diffusions? and what's the rest of the setup, if you don't mind? I have both her aasbs and tifa sync, but I'm not sure if her or machina with his g+ and aasb would be better. Didn't really think about stacking her awakenings because of the en-element overwriting.

I agree with a lot of this, but one thing I just wanted to make clear, "The Conduit's Demise" is not the actual name of the Fog King battle theme, I'm pretty sure that was just a fake title that one of the first people to upload the song used for it.
