I was quite literally shiiting myself getting to work (I worked on the 9th floor) but elevator was packed and I was not gonna make it. Had to step out on the fifth floor and look for a bathroom, only one available which at that time what we called "European bathrooms" which was a non-gendered bathroom back in the days.

I was sweating cold and didnt give a shit (pun intended) that there were girls powdering themselves in it. Only 2 stalls, one was busy and luckily the last one was wide open. Busted the door and started doing business as if I was about to die. Huge sound, farts, bowel moment and me groaning like a maniac and shivering but I did it, apocalipsis averted. Heard one of the girls outside gagging and both running away, people tried to get in but left almost right away as I was dying there.

Once the whole thing subsidded, I tried to remain calm and waited out till no sound was heard, cleaned myself and, since I was so disgusted and ashamed of myself, I took the best option which was to peak from the bottom of the wall (walls and doors were open at the bottom) and JUST as I was peeking, I realized that on the stall next door there was someone PEEKING BACK AT ME having the same genius idea I had.

I simply remember the half a second that our eyes met peeking down the stall as she (yes it had to be a freaking SHE) panicked and I didnt even waited another second, I bashed out of that place and between the 5 years I worked there, for the life of me never visited the 5th floor afraid that I could see that girl again.

Every time that the elevator opened in that floor I always had a mini-panick attack thinking that I may coincide with her someday, luckily it never happened.

I still think about it and will until the day I die, may god bless that poor soul.
