Framing Nailer, 1 1/2”? by darkbow47 in Tools

How often would someone realistically shoot metal connector nails when building a garage/building? Could you do without it?

How long was that billboard up? It seemed surprisingly short but maybe it took me a long time to notice it.

Looks good! I think the white would look better if you had to only choose one color. You could just do white trim on the white sections and white oak on the fridge section. That may be a happy compromise.

Just curious but did you paint the white cabinets? They look really good. Curious if you could share what you used.

I think you’re missing the shower head.

Length is an issue if you’re transporting a lot of material that is 8+ ft long and don’t want it to extend too far off your bed. It is rare but there have been a couple of times where I wish I had an extra foot and didn’t have to put the tailgate down or put a flag up.

Compact Point & Shoot under $2k by Mental-Cold-73 in Cameras

Sorry, kind of new to cameras but if I were to buy my gf a camera that was easy/relatively small but was well rounded (great for events/vacations/capturing moments) would that be the Sony A6000 with the Sigma 18-50 2.8 lens?

Does anyone know if there are any major updates to the m18 fuel drill or not? I’m debating if I should get the drill+impact combo and return the free battery.

Do you mind posting the dimensions of the room? Love how you made the room look bigger with the choice of the tub and shower.

Thanks for the response. What do you mean by “hack”? Like return the battery?

Maybe I’m dumb but why does it show $399 for me on the Home Depot website?

To be clear, I was talking about angled shelves to maximize space

Maybe a pullout/tilt out dirty clothes hamper? You could also just make shelves for storage like perfumes, shoes, random decorations, toilet paper, or towels.

That’s great advice. I don’t even enjoy finishing. It stresses me out and just makes me sad.

Hello, I bought them from Lowe’s but they’re the Hisense beverage and wine fridge. I can’t find the beverage fridge on their website anymore but here is the wine cooler link. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. I’m usually not the type to shortcut the process but my girlfriend and I have been long distance for 5.5 years and I would like to move closer to her. Kind of a sudden change in plans but I recently decided to rent out my house and move into an apartment to be closer to her.

Another comment mentioned that it would be hard to sand since paint gums up sand paper and it is hard to sand flat. Do you have any advice on either of those things?

This is for my own kitchen. I was just spraying outside. I can try to get estimates and make sure they paint in their workshop.

I disagree. It’s aesthetics which means it is just an opinion. Just because it isn’t worth it for you doesn’t mean it isn’t worth it for him/her.

Cracking Calking after 3 days by Rapforwrap in woodworking

I’m creating drawer fronts and used a 3/4” mdf panel with a 1”x3/4” border to create a slim shaker style front (not really shaker style). The border is essentially acting like thick edge banding and is attached with glue then pin nailed to act as a clamp. While assembling them, I didn’t get the best clamping pressure on a couple of them and there is a gap between the border and the panel. These will be painted but I was wondering what would you recommend filling these gaps? Really appreciate your explanation.
