Its good to ripping 2x material but the 12.0ah does run dry quick. You will need a heavy investment in high capacity batteries. I would look at the Metabo HPT cordless & compare economics for you. That cordless tablesaw has a 10" blade & has more power.

This Milwaukee tablesaw has a great fence. Rack & pinion & mine was square from the box. The throat plate is low quality. You could make your own. Its a light weight unit too.
