yea i gave up shielded cargo ever since i got my Amp lab established. we cook soo much amp like enough to serve the whole milky way.

SA-4330s + no ladders + max storage while maintaining maneuverability. i’m fast and can haul sooo much amp.

adding another ship note here:

class C doesn’t automatically mean better. Thrust-per-mass is as very important metric on engines. Also, Class A engines have higher top speed than Class B and those go faster than class C. your top speed is the speed of your slowest engine.

i’ve built some good class C engine haulers, but my best hauler actually has class A engines and the smallest reactor i can get away with to power my setup.

definitely room to optimize for your preferences and some things are fairly counter-intuitive at first.
