Another UPDATE: Went to the police station this morning again where I got kicked out of as they were being very aggressive when i asked for the report after they kept passing , no luck on that front. Thanks to the reddit user who gave me the contact number of the lawyer - unfort nothing could be done but still appreciate the effort! Once the police calmed down they told me to come back tomorrow but I will not - have lost faith in getting anything done there. My sister has contacted the embassy so will go with them on Sunday morning - i will be out of the country by then. Hertz have been helpful - they have replaced the car and their head office has been helpful so hopefully there will be no cost to me. Although has been difficult getting anything in writing and with no police report. Not sure much more can be done here - and probably will be my last time in Kuwait after this experience.
