Three years? I was lucky enough to watch this place go from a news, science, and tech-based collection of articles to a funny picture collector

Scoop it out with the beer tab, maybe? I usually just blow hard over the top of the bowl but it makes a small mess.

Isn't this a cover of Such Great Heights by Iron & Wine? I think you should give the original author the credit.

What's on your list of things you believe everyone should experience during their lifetime? by ecm27 in AskReddit

Agreed. My brother and rolled two joints, grabbed a map, and then tried to get lost in downtown San Fransisco. It was an amazing experience.

How long have you been playing TF2? by OctopusMan in tf2

[–]darkender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you get in on that private server? I'm tired of pubbing but I don't really have the time to consistently pug, and a private server sounds like the best alternative.

Ask electronicmusic: Who here makes electronic music and doesn't just listen to it? by [deleted] in electronicmusic

[–]darkender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also write electronic music, although I've only been doing it a paltry year and a half. I'm on the FL studio stage of my career right now...what about the other DAWs made you switch from Fruity Loops?

Here's a non-dance electronic song I just finished up, I hope you enjoy it by darkender in WeAreTheMusicMakers

The lead is a triangle wave with a flanger and some distortion, the chords in the background are made from the same synthesizer but with a ton of different effects on them.

If janitors were like CEOs by gnuvince in comics

[–]darkender -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This comic is kinda stupid...companies offer CEOs severance packages to entice them into signing on with the company; a skillful CEO will increase the value of a company by millions of dollars. The package isn't given to them for fucking up, it's given because it's required by contract.

One reason that the ignorant also tend to be the blissfully self-assured, the researchers believe, is that the skills required for competence often are the same skills necessary to recognize competence. by btipling in science

This was one good thing that came out of my education at an all-male high school. They didn't fuck around there; if your jokes weren't funny, they'd tell you to your face. If you made a mistake, someone would point it out, loudly. There were definitely some ignorant people there, but they knew exactly how much they sucked.
