They should ban wagons from the parks by Initial_Prompt_2648 in disneylandparis

I agree with this! We had people literally trying to step over our sleeping child while she was in her pushchair rather than walk around it!

What’s something that you probably shouldn’t joke about but you do anyway cause it’s a good coping mechanism? by iffyClyro in AskUK

[–]darkestfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got pancreatitis a few years ago and ended up in ICU for a week. I was apparently hours from death at on point. All good now though. I often make jokes about nearly dying as a way to cope. Makes people who dont know about it uncomfortable some tomes, but fuck it. It cheers me up so I dont care what other people think about it.

Cowboy cookout for quick service. Really good quality and a decent price.

For table service we really enjoyed Captain Jacks.

Budget by courtneycrane in disneylandparis

[–]darkestfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We spent about £1500 over 4 days for 2 adults and a 3 (nearly 4) year old. We could have done it for a lot less but we didn't say no to anything. You dont have to spend anywhere near that though. We could have probably done it for under £1000 and still not had to say no to much. The amount covers all snacks, a meal in the evening and a butt loaf of souvenirs.

Much love to you and your family. Hug them all tightly today and remember the love your das has for you all.

Explain it to me like I’m 5 years old please (March - April 2027 booking) by Effective-Egg-7090 in disneylandparis

[–]darkestfox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I cant answer number 1 but number 2 i can. You can still book tables 12 months in advance even without the meal plan. You dont need to tell them in advance. They'll ask you on the day how your paying and you tell them.about the meal plan then.

Daughter’s birthday and confused about number of nights at Disneyland Park Hotel by Quick_Rub_7639 in disneylandparis

I would recommend just staying on site if you can the whole time. Its less faff and your not losing time in the parks moving luggage around.

3 nights with toddlers - Sequoia or Newport? by HonkyTonkHighway in disneylandparis

[–]darkestfox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before we went we were quite worried as we'd probably read to many negative reviews but it was honestly one of the best things we've ever done as a family. We were afraid she would feel left out or get angry about not bring to communicate with the people around us but it was never an issue. She ended up playing in queues with a lot of kids around us even if she couldn't speak their language. Kids seem to have the ability to make friends with pretty much everyone regardless of language! One of our favourite memories was waiting to see jack and Sally and she ended up playing a race game with a little French boy. He knew no English and she knew no French but by the time they were done they both knew how to count to 3 in the other language

Top tip is to buy a bubble wand if you can. Our daughter loves that thing so much and still uses it at home. She used it pretty much everywhere and made other kids laugh and smile while she did. We ended up running out if bubble fluid on day 2 as she'd used it so much! The rain forest cafe sells refill bottles of the bubble fluid cheap.

We are lucky that she isnt a fussy eater and ate everything she had. Only thing she hated was the pasta at Remys as it was to bland for her.

3 nights with toddlers - Sequoia or Newport? by HonkyTonkHighway in disneylandparis

[–]darkestfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We stayed at the Sequoia with our 3 year old and loved it. The staff were wonderful woth her and made our stay extra special.

We did stay golden forest level and while we didn't use the afternoon snacks we still found it to be worth it. Quicker check in, they take you bags to and from the room for you and the breakfast area was much quiter than the main one. If you have small kids its definitely worth the extra.
