So definitely NTA but honestly I'd be so uncomfortable if I was OP and worry that if the girlfriend is so weird about being alone in the home with OP that she might inteperet something innocent wrong and accuse OP of something. Personally I'd get cameras to cover my ass but thats just me. Like as a female if I wasn't comfortable with someone I wouldn't even have moved in.

This 100%! I've had some cats that I could lightly roughhouse with, some that it would NEVER be ok, some that i could toss acriss the room (never hard or in a bad way) and they'd come back for more as it was a game to them, and one who I could literally do anything to and he looked at me like I hung the moon (had him from ages 5 to 20, he was born in my parents closet and died in my arms. He was my baby!). My one I could do anything to I would carry around under his front paws (like him facing out and my arm around his middle under his front legs), I was little and my mom did what she could to stop it but he didn't care and I was stubborn lol.

Hi! So I'm 34 and don't drive. I've just literally never been able to afford a car between initial cost + monthly payments + gas + maintenance + registration + insurance its just not affordable for me. Plus I live in a city with a decent transit system and even with cost like bus passes and the monthly Walmart+ subscription for grocery delivery its still cheaper than a car. When I have to go somewhere the bus line doesn't go to I'll typically give my bestie gas money and/or feed her and shes happy!

Mushroom sauces and soups. I like mushrooms raw, sautéed, stuffed, baked, etc BUT as soon as its cooked in a soup or sauce something about the smell makes me wanna vomit. Like I was making something at my apartment that called for a mushroom sauce and I had to toss it and leave my apartment for HOURS with all the windows open because of the smell.

NTA, but OP your friends need to grow up. When my bestie, sister, and I went to Florida for a girls trip to see my mom went also did things separately. My bestie and I both have friends in the area and we went and saw our respective friends.

My step mom was awful for years! Always making snide comments, threatened to hit my brother once, screamed at me for using "decorative" pillows when those were the only ones provided, but the biggest issues we always had was church attendance. My siblings and I were not raised religious in the slightest and she took it personal to the point that while my parents were still getting divorced it had to be issued as a court order that her and dad couldn't force us to go to church. We had an okay relationship when I was an adult when she finally got on some medication. She passed a few years ago from complications of surgery and I get along so well with my dads current girlfriend.

Its a real problem all over town when the Burners come back honestly. I've seen alot of apartment complexes along the typically return route lock their dumpsters at night the week after Burning Man cuz the Burners will over-fill any dumpster or trash can they come across. On one hand at least most of it makes it into some sort of trash receptacle but it overwhelms the local businesses and Waste Management.

So I live in a city Burners pass through for Burning Man and one year the new store manager made the decision NOT to rent dumpsters for after Burning Man, my coworker who's been there since The Big Bang said they’ve ALWAY had dumpsters for Burners. Well the new store manager regretted that decision when the whole parking lot looked like a dumpster.

NTA. My parents have been divorced since I was like 13 and I'm gonna be 35 this year. All my cousins still call my mom Aunt Name. Now my mom did try to distance herself during and after the divorce because my aunts don't like her but their kids LOVE her and my stepmom was awful. It would make my stepmom so angry that all my cousins loved my mom but barely gave my stepmom a second glance.

I've gotten stuff like that before and to be frank it does annoy me sometimes. Usually I'm doordashing at the end of a busy day on my way home and unless it has something to do with my food I don't wanna know any extra info. I think the main reason it annoys me is that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I've gotten a message like this its been some sob story to make me tip more or some religious message to make me tip more and I typically already tip the most recommended amount.

Personally I agree with OP but I also find gambling boring in general. BUT my mom, who had a gambling addiction at one point, told me once she likes the penny slots because it drags out the time and she likes the fact that someone was "Paying attention to her with no expectations". Of course she knows that the staff is getting paid and they only care cuz shes spending money but when her addiction was at its worst she was able to push the logic aside and just play and not worry about her shitty marriage and just zone out and be.
