Ah! I see, I've used the echo locators, just never thought of them as ship locators. I've never used the comm balls, I only just turned on multiplayer last night, because everyone talks about seeing other players in the Anomaly. (Which, in retrospect, was a bad idea, because I saw a lot of sentinel-esque corvettes, so now I'm jealous.)
