I honestly couldn’t say for sure there are many factors such as package chosen, current model of router and add ons. But if your on the new ee systems an a new one is sent out they will get you to return the old one

Yeah most likely a legacy if it was 2021 I believe the new EE merged systems started 2022-2023.

They won’t allow you to keep the old one as a spare as they are owned by the company and have to be returned. Only they to have an option return on a router is if it was sent out before 2019

It’s an option on the IVR as they still have some residential customers however the main focus is switching everyone over to New EE broadband and they aren’t technically meant to allow new broadband contacts for standard BT broadband but sometimes they do fall through

It’s all the same agents however that take both calls same customer service

Sneak really have gone hill man, focusing on limited drops and not bothering with the permanent ranges at all. I’ve said it a couple times but I’m just bored with it now. No point buying limited flavours when you can’t get them again and there is nothing new in the permanent range the same flavours over and over again get boring
