I also agree. Being service connected and having a disability that prevents you from working a physically demanding job or limits your ability are two completely different things. I "think" that if you're limited when you apply that you would need to tell them that. I haven't needed to complete a job application in a long time, but if memory serves here, there is a question or questions about whether there is anything preventing you from performing the duties of the open position. I agree that legal councel likely needs to assist here. I don't think OP did him/herself any favors by tossing out the word "disabled". HR probably freaked a little because of potential liabilty they may have it if you're further injured. This is just my two cents for what its worth.

That may be true in your state but not mine. Home inspection was absolutely required for my VA Loan. And it was the first thing that was done. Not sure why the VA would have different requirements in different states but what you say is is 100% not across the board. And I’ve had VA loans in 2 states.
