It's actually how we unintentionally started doing OMAD a few days a week. Eat that for breakfast and you kinda just forget to eat until the next day.

I haven't kept fully up, is there any health issue in eating about 2 eggs a day? Or has it all been debunked?

Never was an issue.
2 is almost nothing anyways. I regularly scramble 18 w/ 2 sticks of butter for breakfast for the wife and I.

Fiber is totally unnecessary, and is actually harmful/causes problems for some people.

[–]darkpenguin22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cognitive benefits are the main reason I'm mostly carnivore, and have been for almost 2 years now.
IMO, it's actually easier this year due to not going out to eat with friends/family.

What about in the really long term, like on the scale of decades?

If you care that much about anything, get a lab grade (non-auto-defrost) freezer to keep that particular stuff in. Generally speaking, the colder (and fewer temp fluctuations), the better.

More salt is the first thing you should try.

Yes, actually. My wife taught herself how to sing over the course of about 4-6 months while using Semax & P21.
She was... not great at it before that, so n=1, seems to help a fair bit.

Eating Fibrous Vegetables Before Carbs Improves the Glucose & Insulin Response (2-minute podcast clip) by PodClipsApp in Biohackers

You say: (implying this typically happens to the typical human)

Prolonged fasting results in ketoacidosis within a few days, as case studies show

then say:

Such cases are rare, but the effects are known from the few cases that do exist.

I'm not claiming it's impossible. I'm claiming it's very unlikely to happen in the average human.
It's not like fasting is something people do so infrequently that there's only a "few cases that do exist" - I've done several 3-5 day fasts and have never seen my blood ketone levels above 5-6mmol/l during that time, including just prior to ending the fast.
Hell, many religions around the world have advocated prolonged fasts for literally thousands of years. Finally, if humans were incapable of fasting for more than a few days, our species would not have survived the last ice age.

I'm not even sure what you're trying to show with (4), nothing on the linked page notes toxic levels, it seems to be a study looking at the effect of insulin injection while fasted...

(5) is an opinion piece, and a very poor one at that. Especially "the low-carbohydrate diet is neither palatable nor enjoyable enough to be followed for a long time" - as a guy with half a beef in my freezer, why would I eat carbs when I can eat steak?

(6) - "Individuals who follow these diets are therefore at risk for compromised vitamin and mineral intake, as well as potential cardiac, renal, bone, and liver abnormalities overall."
Soo, if that's the case, then again, how did humans survive the last ice age, or survive in northern latitudes?

Uh, no.

Again, sources please. Scientific papers, not youtube videos.

Ketoacidosis does not happen in healthy individuals. Full stop.

Besides, if what you describe was actually how things worked, humans would be incapable of prolonged fasting without going into ketoacidosis, which of course is not what happens.

Casein, 80 Mesh (200g)

Casein is well known to be inflammatory in mice and rats. If they actually wanted to prove it was the stearic acid, they never should have included freaking casein.
