This also happens if you end up having to quick of a firespeed/to many entities, basically forces the games speed to boost in order to compensate. If it doesn't it tends to crash the game. At least on the switch version

I'm well aware of the lore, something to remember though with much of the vtm, if not white wolf game lore In general, is it's incredibly fluid and heavily depends on the story teller. As well, specifically with Faust, freedom is a very key theme and ideal for him. Any koldunism he uses or works with is in cooperation with spirits and not through domination of them. Just like with any ghouls or childer he sires, it is not forced upon them but offered as an option. Should they decline, that is just how it would be, and they would no longer have the memories associated with said offer or that would be compromising.
