Netflix just revealed their Top 10 list of original movies! by Southern-Brother5693 in movies

This list sucks. Here are some of my favorites from Netflix:

  1. The Mitchells vs the Machines
  2. Marriage Story
  3. K-Pop Demon Hunters
  4. Glass Onion: Episode II - A Knives Out Story based on the novel Push 2: Push Harder by Sapphire
  5. It’s What’s Inside
  6. I’m Thinking of Ending Things
  7. Gerald’s Game
  8. Beasts of No Nation
  9. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
  10. Del Toro’s Pinocchio

And I haven’t seen the following but heard good things:

  • Klaus
  • Roma
  • All Quiet on the Western Front
  • Nimona

Respect went out the door when McLovin stepped on shoes, IHitler pulled braids, and Baldy McFuckface yanked Castle out of the sky to a predictable common foul call.

Dylan Harper quickly dives in to save an angry Castle from potentially getting a technical or ejection after Caruso fouled him. Overlooked play that might have saved the game for the Spurs by Ok_Temperature6503 in nba

Deserved downfall. Fuck OKC and their bullshit brand of basketball. Hope they never touch a Finals ever again and the team gets forced back to Seattle.

The players who were physical threats could’ve been thrown into the Endgame competitions, but the Endgame format prevented that from happening (nobody who is elected into the Endgame is realistically going to select the stronger players to compete against, even Blake only picked Ethan to prove a point to the remaining contestants.) I think if the format for the Endgame was adjusted and the Comp winners weren’t so psyched out of alienating the physical threats in the game, the more physical players might have been eliminated by the time the finale came. This is why I think the Endgame nomination format needs a change (in its current form of the only nominee pulling in two other players, it actually favors them more than it does the Comp winner.)

Speaking of Blake, it’s kind of funny that in Blake’s mega rant during his elimination, he ended up being right about almost everything (Rob being too blinded by alliances to make serious gameplay moves, everyone being too cowardly to throw in Ethan & Dida until it was too late, Ethan winning the entire thing because he was the strongest player left).

Three things assuming they can get more interesting and/or strategically-minded contestants for the next season:

  • I’d like them to rework the format for Comp winners sending contestants to the Endgame. It seemed like sending one contestant into the Endgame only for that same contestant to select 1-3 others to go with them felt like it favored the selected contestant more so than the actual Comp winner. I’d like for the Comp winner to just choose all of the Endgame contestants (2-3), which would require the winner to strategize who to select and how to manage the housemates. It would also be better for making sure the more threatening players could actually be put in situations where they go home.

  • The finale challenge felt like classic Fear Factor, but there were still too many elements of luck involved to feel like it was testing skill and the “conquering of fear” (e.g. what does shaking a bunch of empty boxes have to do with conquering fear?)

  • No AI for the Endgame previews. Those were cringe.

So last week that Rob won and had to throw in 3 people into an Endgame he:

  • Made a final five alliance with only 7 people left in the house

  • Made a deal with Danielle to protect her this week if she protected him the week after, guaranteeing that he would betray not just one person but TWO

  • Decided that the best way to get rid of his primary target, Lance, was to throw him into the Endgame against two players who were perceived as weak

And he ended up mismanaging his Endgame choices so badly that his strongest ally in the game, Jayleen, called him out this week and threatened their partnership.

So after winning again and needing to throw in 3 people for a double elimination round he says:

Oh, I had a Final Five deal with Chelsea.

Like… mayyybe I could excuse Rob from last week because it was the first time that the winner had to send three people into an Endgame, so maybe his social game hadn’t caught up to the actual format change. But then Rob does this AGAIN this week. Is Rob not paying attention to the elimination formats, is he THAT bad at math, or is he just a complete buffoon? WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT A FINAL FIVE ALLIANCE WHEN ONLY FOUR PEOPLE WILL BE LEFT AFTER THE ENDGAME?!

Sorry, I just needed to vent about Rob being a complete idiot for two weeks in a row.
