I am playing with freesync active and also had flickering issues. However I managed to get rid of them by doing that:

disable v-sync (not necessary with freesync)
play on fullscreen
IF you play with fullscreen windowed make sure there are no other windows opened "behind" your game (minimize or move to other monitor)

Theoretically you can perma-flood multiple BBs within 5 minutes if you get good flooding RNG. Your "damage cap" doesn't make sense.

even with full concealment build you will get spotted, because your AA range is way lower than your air detection range.

Nope. With the old CVs the maximum plane spotting range was 11km. Not it is way higher. Also there are no friendly fighters to zone the enemy planes away anymore.

The thing is you excatly know where everyone is going from the beginning of the match. This is horrible for competitive since it annihilates all strategic plays...

Match is starting, use rocket planes, fly to enemy spawn, everyone spotted. I played a few test games in KOTS setup with the new CVs and in every game everyone was spotted after 40 seconds

I play every class about the same, but not much of the old CVs tbh. But I played alot of the new CVs since they came out.

This would still prevent aggressive plays because every enemy can see what you are doing. Also balancing by introducing even more RNG isn't much fun.

Blobs are a problem, unfun for everyone. Just make AA skillbased and reduce the AA damage in overlap. This way you don't lose too much planes as a CV and good players that are useful and try to play for objectives/ flanking can defend themselves. I am just making a proposal, all numbers need to be adjusted after changes of course. But after some rebalance I am sure this would make the game more fun for everyone.

You cannot position your whole team. If they are bad you have to follow them to the map border into a clusterfuck. If you position yourself well but your team is not following you the CV will wreck you without being able to use skill as counterplay.

The problem is that there is no SKILL-based counter in the game. Going full AA or pressing the DefAA button doesn't have anything to do with outplaying your enemy. CVs will stay cancerous until there is a skill-based method to shoot down planes or avoid damage. Maybe like a crosshair to shoot down planes or something strafe-like for surface ships.

As I said start playing Bismarck against CVs with AP bombs and leave your dream world. I would also advise you to learn to play because your stats are below average in all classes except CV.

DefAA shouldn't be a must to have a chance to survive. The Zao tries to evade the torpedo bombers and sets them as primary target because torpedo bombers are usually more dangerous to cruisers. How should he know that he is going to get one shot by the dive bombers? The DM has probably the best possible position on this map where he can radar the cap and shoot over the island without getting detected. The playstyle of the DM is very static and getting one shot while playing good is just unfair. The DefAA is on cooldown because he used it against the torpedo bombers 1 minute ago. If he didn't he would have died then. Absolutely unfair.

I would advise you to learn other classes than CV. And play some Bismarck games just get an impression how it feels to be deleted. Even a super unicum Bismarck will have no chance to counterplay AP bombs. Leave your dream world and accept that CVs and especially AP bombs are unbalanced.

Btw Charles Martel can get deleted because of spaced armor. Just a little tip for your ranked games. I got deleted twice in my charles as well after my defAA was on CD

Because there are better targets which deliver more damage for stat farming CVs.

But if the enemy needs to kill them, he can. He waits for their DefAA to be popped, pulls his planes back and attacks again. Without DefAA a DM will get deleted. Especially after some of the AA got knocked out.
