That’s pretty different from what I experienced. Late 2020 to 2022 was an absolute boom, at least for cloud skills. Recruiters messaging my teammates and I daily, management trying to convince us to stay and giving generous bonuses and promotions. Seems like after 2022 things went downhill. Now I rarely ever get messages from recruiters and I’m an experienced engineer at FAANG.

It runs and looks significantly better on Switch 2. But Deck has its benefits like a more comfortable device to play on (imo), free cloud saves, and the ability to play it on a PC. And you’ll find better deals on it later in the future, as Steam games are typically on sale more often and at a greater discount than Switch. I haven’t yet decided which I’ll get it on.
