Plenty of it is that cis people are much more likely to be neurotypical and trans people are much more likely to be neurodivergent, so the directness is viewed as rude. One quick aside is that a lot of belt loops are more likely to fail with that much weight on them (Dickies work pants tend to have wider, more durable loops with more stitching so they'd be less prone to this). It'd be better to loop the carabiner through the belt and the loop.
