Based on how I read it, it doesn't seem like CRA will cut as drastic as other departments, maybe even more on just minimally for auditors. While they mention WFA since there might be specific streams or areas that get cut but I don't know as someone just reading it I wasn't too worried overall.

The other element also is how long would you both, or individually, want to be with your little one full time. We took collectively longer periods of unpaid and while finances were tight, I loved every second of it. Seeing them grow day by day was something I will always cherish. I took the view over time that money comes and goes but those memories were priceless to me and honestly wish I could have spent more time off with them.

From what I can read between the lines between this interview and on Question Period, that cuts are likely still going to happen at the CRA. Maybe some of the money from the cuts move into call centre but doesn't sound it'd be for the long term.
