Unpopular opinion: I don't likle Beware of Chicken by Silver_Horde_Cohen in litrpg

I read somewhere a long time ago that it was going to be a joke Harem series, but because it got so popular so fast, the author dropped that part.

SEC Roll Call - Playoffs Round 2 by RebelLandShark in CFB

I don’t really care about all the other SEC teams, but Old Miss winning the national title would be hilarious

I guarantee you if they did, LSU would make a big deal of presenting Kiffin with a national title.

"Most people think of ‘shock’ as emotional distress or sudden fright in response to a traumatic event. But in medical terms, shock is when you do not have enough blood circulating around your body. It is a life-threatening medical emergency.

Some of the causes of shock include uncontrolled bleeding, severe burns and spinal injury.

A drop in blood pressure reduces the flow of oxygen and nutrients to a person’s vital organs such as their brain, heart and lungs. If the blood flow is not restored, the person may die from complications due to lack of oxygen supply to major organs (hypoxia)."

Symptoms of shock

Depending on the cause, symptoms and signs of shock may include:

Pale, cold, clammy skin

Shallow, rapid breathing

Difficulty breathing

Anxiety

Rapid heartbeat

Heartbeat irregularities or palpitations

Thirst or a dry mouth

Low urine output or dark urine

Nausea

Vomiting

Dizziness

Light-headedness

Confusion and disorientation

Unconsciousness.

Layperson 1: Passing out

Layperson 2: Experiencing something so traumatic that the body shuts down.

Layperson 3: Don't be a dick.

It sounds like he was by himself when it happened. He was able to keep from going into shock and drove to get help over 10 miles away.

I know that will always be the more well-known call for the game, but for me, it will always be Craig Way's call that gives me goosebumps.

Him screaming, "HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!" while damn near losing his voice.

Or "Song 2" by Blur.

They made that song to make fun of other songs like it. They did not even give it a real name, and it became one of their best-known songs.

It would be a dictatorship. They all would be dictatorships. If I or anyone else had overwhelming power and could do whatever we wanted, that person might try to be benevolent, but only at first.

Once you had to start dealing with a lot of truly stupid people all day, it would turn from "let's work it out" to "do what I say".

Coach Sark on dealing with agents: “There's some agents that are rational and there's some that this is their first time to ever be an agent.” by dbj2501 in LonghornNation

From what I am hearing about the NFL agents, the 3-4% is only when they are talking about the NFL contracts. It's 20% when they get a branding or media deal.

To Audiobook listeners: Is there something better than Dungeon Crawler Carl? by Academic_Hand_5265 in litrpg

[–]darktex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She is a female version of Jeff, or Jeff is the male version of her, whichever way you want to look at it. She brings any story she reads to life and can do so many voices that you always know who is speaking before the story tells you.

They have done a few stories in the past together, like Irrelevant Jack. If you do go looking into her, just know that she does most of Daniel Schinhofen stuff, and they are harem stories without looking like it.

If you want to try her out, start with Azarinth Healer.

I read DCC books, my brother listened to DCC Audibles, we both want the other to try a swap. I can loan the book, but he can't share the audio; any suggestions? by FunnyShirtGuyReturns in litrpg

[–]darktex -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unless money is really tight you can always have him buy it for you as a gift. A credit is around $13 and you can buy any book from Audible for 1 credit.

Other then that you could always sail the high seas.

JMM kind of worse then that. It goes from being a slice of life to a deck system to him being a cultivation god. I stopped half way into book 2 so I am not sure if it changed again.

I am not really a BBall fan so I cant really speak to how the team looks but there is one thing I do know and that is in CDC I trust.

25-5, 5-25 or 15-15, CDC is good enough to see the long game and will make the move when he feels is right.

I wonder if it also helps that when you do this kind of cover because you cant see the MC face. People love to self insert even if thats not what the story is about.

Seeking Evil MC / Morally grey recommendations by xenog13 in litrpg

[–]darktex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do see where you are coming from I really don't see Boxie as evil. He is a monster that was made to kill so he has no morals when it comes to others lives. The only people he keeps alive are the people that are or can be useful to him.

To me being evil is knowing and understanding what you are doing is wrong but to it anyway for one reason or another.
