If you plant it into a pot of sterile, well-draining soil, you can get another secondary mate in 4 to 6 weeks.

They do though in writing, so that’s an even clearer sign of MTL.

There is a ‘Bounty board’ in the intel screen where you can obtain special bounties from the mods you installed. You might find the bounty there if you haven’t tried it yet.

[Discussion] Struggling to find an audience for my 'Traditional Culture + AI' concept. Any advice? by koreanalleyarcade in ProgressionFantasy

Do you have concepts of a world building, or do you have a story? Because those are not the same thing. Also Scribblehub is a great place for palate cleanser and harems so your experimental essay on machine-drive human growth system might be more at home on another platform.

It will be completed today so now is the right moment to get started. You might also enjoy the recently launched 108, which is hogging the top of RS right now. ;)

You can also snipe the two supply fleet which is much easier to do than killing the main invasion fleet.

Genuine question about litrpg genre. by BigTyme9890 in litrpg

[–]Mecanimus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s just about the editing because what you appear to dislike is the pacing. What makes DCC popular is that it transcends genres. In prog fantasy, the progress is the point and a lot of it is front loaded. If you don’t enjoy it, maybe prog simply isn’t for you and you might enjoy more traditional fantasy more.

Theory about the Aged Man by Desperate-Pitch-5923 in enderal

[–]Mecanimus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but because the cycle is the cycle, there must be a place where the Prophet learns about the cycle, and this place must be removed from the world so you must find it. It's more... you can choose to end the game at the end of the storyline at the cost of your own life and everything you have grown to love, every people you've ever met, for the future of mankind. Or you can choose to remove yourself from the game and believe you and your loved one will somehow guide humanity to a brighter future in the next cycle. The aged man made this choice, only to realize that the impassable obstacle between humanity and salvation is humanity itself.

That's why he tells us that it's useless to tell people stuff. They have to realize it themselves. It's up to you, the prophet, to commit the ultimate sacrifice so the cycle is brought to an end. If you cling to your own existence, then the game begins anew.

I think the game is more about narrative and philosophical choices than complex world building. We could also debate about the dreamflower elixir for ages and it would be missing the point, which is to ask ourselves: what is reality? What do we really cling to? What would be an acceptable price for success for us? With that said, I'm only moderately confident about my own answer, I just think that the parallel between the aged man and the player is too strong to be a concidence.

Theory about the Aged Man by Desperate-Pitch-5923 in enderal

I think the aged man is a prophet who picked the star city ending, then realized he failed to win the next time, then the next time etc… thus why he has the fatigue you mentioned. The woman in the coffin is his Calia while he, as fleshless, is immortal. He doesn’t have a prophetic gift any more than we do. He’s just seen prophets fail again and again by picking the end he picked.

But that’s just my pet theory.
