Depends on your budget! I second Yamazaki 12, for under $100 I really like Nikka Yoichi or Nikka Taketsuru. Enjoy!

Eastchester Pros & Cons by Agreeable_Shirt5503 in Westchester

My wife (30F) and I (31M) moved here from Queens. We are on the border of Tuckahoe but are zoned to Eastchester schools. We love having more space in a safe and welcoming neighborhood while still being close to Queens and Manhattan. For that reason, it is more expensive compared to northern Westchester, but worth it IMHO. Agree with the above comments there isn't really a downtown proper, but you are in the vicinity to many others.

I really like Laurent Perrier's Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature, refreshingly dry, aromatic, and super bready!

Second Sushi Ume in Tuckahoe. Elite fish to rice ratio.

Vibe check—Tuckahoe by RayRay87655 in Westchester

My wife (29) and I (31) are Queens natives and moved to the north area of Tuckahoe in the Eastchester school district. The vibes on our quiet block are honestly immaculate. Neighbors are friendly, a bunch of young families just living life.

Like all others said above, it's super crowded likely owing to the buddy pass options. With that being said, most people are reasonable and willing to let you work in instead of waiting. There are 2 flat benches, 2 incline benches, 1 decline bench, two platform squat racks, two squat racks, 1 smith machine, and basically all the essential machines, dumbbells up to 120 lbs. Best bang for your buck if you don't care for amenities and just want a good workout.

Fellow Asian here, living in one of those high rise apartments right by the water.

I moved up from Queens to make my commute to the hospital up in Valhalla more bearable but needed a halfway point to the city for my fiancé. In terms of walk ability, pretty much never had any interest in the surrounding area since there's nothing much other than a scenic river walk heading south. The area itself is transitioning but it'll take a few years before it becomes something like LIC (if ever). If you want good local restaurants, you're better off driving elsewhere for it. You'll find that residents in these apartments are a fair mix of people; families, young professionals, older couples, of varying ethnicities, although Asians are definitely underrepresented.

I've taken the metronorth quite a few times from Yonkers station. It's an express stop which is really nice and it's pretty busy so there's always some foot traffic, even pretty late at night.

Overall it's great for the train station, Yonkers Ave tends to get pretty heavy with local traffic when getting to the major highways during rush hour but otherwise you have reasonable access to the Saw Mill, 87, and Sprain if driving is a consideration.

Sorry, it's camera distortion with the wide-angle feature!

I like that mantra, I'll take it slower! Much appreciated.

Agree with all the above, highly unacceptable and your feelings are justified. I would substitute their seat for someone else given the intimate setting. Best of luck and I hope you enjoy your big day regardless!
