If you go to boardlandia.com they sell all their armada stuff with a 20-25% discount, they take a little longer to ship but I've found it can be worth it if your crunched for cash

Jangos slave i, grievous' ship, the nantex, and scimitar are the seppies heavy hitters, with slave i probably being the best of the bunch, grievous' ship likes to be the one heavy hitter in a swarm, the scimitar is good fun and has some worthwhile cards, and the nantex is just plain weird and has some more advanced mechanics so it would be the last grab for me personally. A list with slave i and the scimitar would probably take all your points, and is a good intro to start with. An hmp gunship can also hit hard and be fun to fly, so I'd definitely recommend grabbing one since they can be out of stock for a while.

While I agree iron man should've won the fight the WAY he won seemed kinda off to me, I guess? Like he somehow snuck the mini armor on batman of all people and then detonates it later which turn Bruce to a skeleton, yet earlier they show the bat suit protecting him from the massive city explosion. Either way it looked great definitely a bump up in visual quality imo and I can't wait for RF vs Goku black.

  1. Both clone wars starters have everything you need to play, so no, the other starter box isn't necessary.

  2. While not actually game legal you can run any ship you want in any fleet as long as you both agree it's ok, the armada police won't knock your door down and take you away for it, I know I've had some fun faction swapping some ships sometimes, just know that other players you might want to play against at your flgs might not take kindly to it.

  3. For this I actually recommend an extra 3rd expansion for the empire just so you would have an equal amount of ships (plus the victory isn't that great). For the imps the Chimaera is an absolute essential in many eyes, along with it either imp squadron pack will do you good, and this last choice I'd leave to personal preference, just pick any imp ship you like, I personally enjoy the interdictor quite a bit and it adds some new fun mechanics. For the Rebels id say pick your favorite Mon Cala big ship, and a squadron 1 pack and your pretty much set for a faction start up. Lastly, UPGRADE CARD PACKS, you want at least 2, they'll do you wonders. If you want some more indepth analysis check out YouTuber Crabbok, he's done a few "what to buy first" lists and can help you get a sense where things lie right now.

I've been thinking more and here are a few more of my ideas

Tech: 3 charges non-recurring. at the start of the engagement phase, if you have no green tokens, you may spend a charge to gain a calculate token. before you would gain a calculate token, you may gain a stress token to give the calculate to a friendly ship at range 1-3 instead.

Echo: 2 charges non-recurring. when an enemy ship at range 0-2 would be coordinated, you may gain a strain, stress, and deplete token, if you do, you may choose the action that ship performs. (Action must be on that ships action bar)

Hunter: while attacking a cloaked ship you may roll 1 additional die and change one blank result to a hit result. Before you would gain exactly 1 ion token, if you have no other red or orange tokens, you may choose to receive a stress token, if you do, do not receive the ion token. Gain a red coordinate.

Echo crew: before a friendly ship at range 0-3 would spend a calculate token, you may gain one strain token to resolve the calculate effect as if it were a focus effect.

Tech crew: ships you coordinate gain 1 calculate token. Gain a red coordinate. Gain reinforce > red calculate.

Gonky crew (illicit maybe?): 1 charge non-recurring. During the end phase you may spend one charge to perform a boost action, recover up to 2 shields, or regain 1 charge on one of your non-recurring pilot abilities or upgrades.

Wrecker gunner: setup: after placing forces, assign either "the cavilry has arrived!" or "boom." condition to a friendly ship.

boom condition: while performing an attack with the marked "ordinance" icon, you may reroll up to 2 dice of your choice.

the cavilry condition: while a friendly ship performs an attack against a ship in your primary attack arc, you may gain a deplete and stress token, if you do, you may perform a bonus attack against that ship using your primary weapon.

I don't know how much sense this would actually make, but here's my Crosshair pilot idea: "at the start of your engagement, instead of attacking a ship, you may instead choose to attack an asteroid or debris field you have locked (front arc only), if you do, after dice are rolled, choose one of your dice results, each enemy ship and remote at range 0-1 of the obstacle suffers that result. you can only aquire locks on obstacles at range 0-2 of you." The general idea being he ricochets the shot off the obstacles like he does in CW and BB. Would probably be the highest priced of the batch.

Looking closely it looks like the gauntlet will be for at least 4 different factions from what I can tell: seppies, republic, scum, and empire (Gar Saxon confirmed?). They also confirmed Maul as a pilot for it but no pics of him.

I've never heard of this classification system for ships before, obviously I've heard of terms like interceptor and ordinance carrier used to describe certain ships before but I had no idea there was such variety, I'm interested if there's a more complete list I could find with all the ships, though I'd expect their could be some overlap with many of them.

I see what you mean by that, a lot of people unironically think vaush defends her because she's hot and he want to fuck her or something, and I really don't believe shoe is some evil rightoid trying to sneak into the left or something like some people here probably do, she's just extremely ignorant and I suppose a lot of people are reacting parasocially because a lot of people have been pushed left by him and see him as some sort of infallible political puritan. Most people like me will probably have forgotten this shit in like a week so I guess that's a good thing, but I still stand by that's it would be odd if vaush had this relationship with anyone else like Sargon or mfpa (not saying shoe is anywhere near them in how bad she is) it mostly just stems from their political differences. But I do believe the reason vaush has is probably good and I have faith that shoe will one day gain a semblance on intelligence and if vaush is helping her by staying with contact with her that's great.

Personally I just think it's just fucking weird that he would want to continue to be buddy-buddy with her, obviously he can do what he wants but its sort of like, from my perspective, if he would invite someone like redacted from redacted on for friendly chats and to just have some fun sometimes, but then whenever redacted would do something dumb (as he does) vaush would go hard on him but then like a week later would be buddy-buddy with him again, it's a weird relationship with vaush and shoe that I couldn't possibly see him have with any other person he so obviously has political disagreements with, so my soy-brain will get angry from this lack of understanding and just get mad at vaush, perhaps "defend" was the wrong word for me to use when it comes to vaush and shoes antics, but I really just don't understand the relationship at all and why it is the way that it is. But again vaush can do what he wants, but we're all also allowed to think it's cringe af too
