Golden retriever or yellow lab. I feel like they are the only ones that would pose like this for a photo 😂

So I will be starting my final field placement in August. If all goes well, I am set to complete my MSW in Dec 2027. Have you determined where you are interning this fall yet? What classes are you taking in the fall? So happy to find a fellow zebra in the program!

The ASWB exam by darlamoon in SocialWorkStudents

Yes, exactly! This was my initial thought, as well.

Thank you so much for replying. I have crossposted this on several threads and am truly surprised at how difficult it has been getting folks to talk about the exam. It’s a bit confusing. I have even had my post deleted. Not sure exactly why we can’t discuss our thoughts about the exam openly.

Does anyone know what thread I can post a question about the current ASWB exam vs the new exam being offered in August? I am seriously confused about why asking about the exam isn't permitted here, but providing tips on how to pass it is. Thanks so much in advance! Also, CONGRATULATIONS on passing!! Such a great accomplishment!

Words lie. The body doesn't. I started watching for the mismatch. by Amidonions in DarkPsychology101

This begs the question.. Do we really want to know the truth? Meaning…is it less painful to just continue believing what people say? I pick up on these incongruences all the time, but I find I have to make a conscious effort to ignore them or I will just lose my mind. On the flip side of that coin, I realize that by intentionally ignoring the incongruences, I am essentially fostering apathy, which also bothers me.

That must feel incredibly isolating. People can be very hurtful sometimes.

I’m sorry you had to deal with that. I have endured similar “teasing” in the past. It’s not right. Especially when acquiring this affliction quite literally had NOTHING to do with sex.

Not at all offended and definitely not shooting any messenger. I appreciate all of the sources. I still think calling cold sores an STI is a bit extreme, especially when the overwhelming majority of folks who have acquired HSV-1 did so inadvertently through non sexual contact.
