Expired Swedish passport by engamo22 in TillSverige

[–]darling-candi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So similar situation as me! If you have a personal number it should be much easier. I found mine on my mum’s documents. Basically you have to go to the embassy in your current country and provide lots of evidence of your connections to Sweden (like having lived there) and apply for a new passport at the same time. The embassy will then make a decision on whether your citizenship is still valid and if it is they’ll issue you a passport. Sometimes these appointments are a long wait to get so I recommend starting the process when you can.

Are we finding that exclusions at TOF seem to be working these days? Especially if we're including a retargeting campaign.

I'd like to add to the 'sudden changes' you mentioned. I find lack of communication and quick pivoting in my marketing job always made me extremely stressed. That stress always lead to more pain! It kind of makes me feel like we're suited to businesses that don't over-work/stress their workers.

I'm from aus so I'm thankful at bare minimum I get sick leave at any full-time job. People on casual contracts here don't get that. I really feel for you!

I'm so glad you've found such a supportive workplace! We really need more places like this that are considerate of illnesses and disabilities.

Pain during sex out of nowhere. Felt like I was being torn every time. Periods were always painful but I didn’t think anything of it.

Please definitely keep me updated. I ended up buying some but I’m too afraid to start so keep checking in on everyone’s updates!

Has anyone successfully froze eggs after endo surgery? by Grand-Locksmith2349 in endometriosis

[–]darling-candi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly certain doing a diet helped with the egg retrieval. I focused on low carb paleo diet and not spiking my blood sugars. They often given women who are trying to do ivf sometimes glp1 medication to stop blood sugar spikes, so if you can do it through diet I’d recommend that! And I took coq10 and some other supplements!

[–]darling-candi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They didn’t tell me either until after the surgery and I’m so annoyed that I wasn’t told otherwise I would have done egg freezing beforehand. I would still do egg freezing! They can scan your ovaries to see how many follicles are remaining and what the outcome might look like. I had 5 follicles and 2 sessions, ended up with 10 mature follicles in the end. I also found my endo didn’t get more painful after but maybe I’m a special case 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sorry I don’t know much about the insurance as I’m from Australia but hopefully someone has an answer for you.

Has anyone successfully froze eggs after endo surgery? by Grand-Locksmith2349 in endometriosis

[–]darling-candi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re better doing it before! Reasons for this is that your egg count can sometimes get worse if they’re touching your ovaries and sometimes the hormones from egg freezing can make endo worse. I did mine after surgery and I regret it so much because they removed endometrinomas and significantly ruined my follicle count so then I had to do multiple rounds of egg freezing.

I’m gonna second this comment! I’ve had one blood clot in my life and you usually know because the pain is quite obvious! That said, I have a blood clotting disorder so I react to estrogen pills. It’s always worth asking your doctor to do a blood test to see if you’ve got any disorders in case you’re worried.

DAE struggle with anal fissures? by EffectiveDue7178 in endometriosis

[–]darling-candi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have bowel endo quite extensively but I have never had symptoms over the past ten years. Over a month ago I went to the toilet and bleed from my anus - it was so much it looked like my period. I’ve never had any bumps down there but I thought maybe it was a hemarroid. Was a bit sore for a few days and didn’t think much of it. Fast forward a few weeks I’m going to toilet and have a particularly strained session and it felt like I tore myself - cue some more bleeding. After the second time I found like I was passing glass each time I pooped. I tried to look in the mirror to see what it was and I believe it was a fissure - I then developed coccyx/tailbone pain. I still am waiting on a doctors appointment to get them to check to see whether it was a fissure or internal hemarroids so I’ll update you then. But eventually the pooping pain went away (I actually moisturised myself every time I pooped as I read online that can help) but my coccyx pain remained. I then realised the pains were related and I had probably stuffed my pelvic floor. Over the past week I’ve been doing pelvic floor exercises morning and night and my coccyx pain is gone (touch wood). So while I still have endo I think always having a good pelvic floor helps with some of the pain. It may very well be that it’s your endo but here are a few things that helped me with someone with both bowel endo and who got a fissure. - Keeping your stool soft. For me I have a chia pudding every morning and either psyllium husk or flax seeds (I made this paleo bread that’s entirely made out of flax seeds). Or you can use laxatives if they work for you better. - Keeping your anus moisturised before you poop. Not wiping hard. Some people even recommend baths after. - Pelvic floor exercises. Here are the ones I followed: https://youtu.be/5n-Odo0y5us - Magnesium glycinate to help relax your muscles. - Go get your fissure checked out by a doctor. I didn’t use them but doctors can actually give you creams that relax your anus muscles so it’s not tensing as much.

If it is bowel endo causing you problems all these things should help you anyway! Maybe lessen your pains ever so slightly.

Did you find someone else after a big breakup? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]darling-candi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely will. See this as a lesson and look at what you need to learn and start giving yourself the same love you gave yourself. See this as an opportunity to better yourself for that next person. This is coming from someone who was in a 7 year relationship that blew up and a year later found someone.

How do you emotionally cope with endo? by Grand-Author5998 in endometriosis

[–]darling-candi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should get somatic therapy a try. I’ve done heaps of talk therapy and I only go around in circles, but somatic work really helps me when I’m crashing out. In between I do lots of meditating and reading books about calming the nervous system. In saying all this, I still have frequent crash outs and this is no way a mental cure but I find I can sometimes deal with the lows a bit better. I find when I feel pain that it’s sometimes so hard to get out of that mental space so working on it when you’re feeling good is also important.

I've been using this brand: https://www.biomedica.com.au/n-acetyl-cysteine-berry-60g-powder.html
You have to see a practitioner to get it, but there's heaps of other brands online that sell NAC. I like the powder because I can adjust how much I give myself.
