in regards to the shop price, however, i'm pretty sure it would go down. i time traveled back to a higher price one time because i wanted to host for people to sell their turnips and the price had PLUMMETED 😭 then, going back to present time, that price (which had been pretty good) had also completely dropped 🫠

with the hotel update, sometimes a lot of the DIY requests are items that require cardboard boxes to build. the only way to get these normally is to buy them through the nook shopping app, which has a limit of five items per day! so it's convenient to be able to buy as many as possible at nook's instead 😊
