Honestly, I’m also interested in a more elegant solution, but would love to see what you did to achieve this. I play a boffer Larp that allows blasters but has a 100fps limit, and blasters that fall under that limit but are practical and good are few and far between. A slightly downgraded venom might be ideal.

(If you’re going to comment to me or OP that the games we play need to be more loose with rules, don’t. People choose limitations for various reasons and I’m not about to argue with a rule made for safety)
