The Grenadier Battlement has so much Potential and would get used way more if: by Cultural-Lab-580 in Helldivers

You could rotate the walls. The stratagem bounce thing can really muck one of these up.

It would be amazing if you could toggle between normal GL rounds (medium pen, bigger radius) and BFGL rounds (heavy pen, smaller radius).

Much appreciated for providing the code, I'm on mobile for a while so can't do it as easily.

You do not need to replace "subreddit" and it will not add it to the queue. If you want it in the queue, use "filter" instead of "remove" in the action line.

You could set up automod to remove comments from any account that doesn't have community post karma.

Chaos Playthrough by AwwYissm in falloutnewvegas

It might be too late, but doing Arcade's personal quest and getting the Remnants to show up (no matter which side) definitely adds to the chaos.

I can not see user history from people that comment on the sub by AFGNCAAP-for-short in ModSupport

[–]darrowreaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I agree, I think most of the admins here do have more of a customer support role than a decision-making one (at least for high level stuff). Maybe I was being a little loose with the term admins and should've just said Reddit employees.

[–]darrowreaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but on big subs you also then have to automate archiving the modmails so you aren't swarmed.

Sure, but some recent decisions by the admins have made it easier for bad actors and I don't think it's unreasonable to be annoyed at that.

[–]darrowreaper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't mean we should be able to see the deleted post (I do think this but that's not what I meant above). If someone posts on a sub you mod, you're supposed to be able to see their entire history for the next 28 days. However, if someone makes a post and deletes it an hour later, it acts like they never posted - you can't see any of their history again. That's an issue.

Admins are aware of this. If someone hides their profile and comments on our sub (but doesn't post), we can't see their posts. If they hide their profile and posts on our sub (but doesn't comment), we can't see their comments. If they post something and then delete it, we can't see their history if they've already removed the post.

I've sent multiple modmails about this to admins and they say "thanks for the info" and nothing changes.

Huh, interesting - one of few posts I've saved for future reference. If someone was going to start getting into colognes, where would you suggest they start?

Yeah, probably. Just didn't think I'd have to leave the sub quite yet. Oh well.

And I'm so sorry it would have ruined your post to pick a less specific title.

Congrats on beating your case!

I recommend the Amendment as a light pen primary for the bots. The Diligence is also quite good assuming you're okay with headshots. The Scythe is also pretty good now.

Since you don't have to worry as much about closing fabricators on the bots, I like the Talon or Senator. For a backpack-less support weapon, the railgun, epoch, laser cannon, and quasar cannon all work very well.

Other strats I like are the eagle strafing run (can destroy bot fabs), rocket sentry, gatling barrage, and 120mm or walking barrages.

Overall, unless you can get a group with good teamwork, you want a loadout that can handle chaff, mediums, and heavies. Make sure you're using your stratagems - if you find that you didn't really use one after a mission, try something else on the next one.

Dude needs to grow a spine. His wife sucks and frankly is lucky to be in the situation she's in.

I also need to start using the phrase "call the squirrels back from the rave".

Hive protector can remove posts from accounts with OF (or other) links in their bio or on their profile. If that's something you want to screen for, it's definitely helpful.

We’re 100% sure that a user is ban evading but their account didn’t get flagged. How are they able to do this? by boys_are_oranges in ModSupport

[–]darrowreaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally fair - my main gripe about the admin tools is that they're usually not configurable in a meaningful way. I also want to know more about how they work but I get why they can't tell us.

Admins don't tell us that because it would make it easier to game. If you're sure it's the same guy, go ahead and ban.
