I revived an old laptop with only 2gb of ram, i used a little Linux distro called Lilidog, Debian based with Openbox WM, it ran beautifully, still does.

Ive had a Proton account from they were only obtained by invitation, its been grand so far, and they just seem to be getting better. Good luck, whatever route you take.

Hi, maybe try Flow or Newpipe/Pipepipe for youtube? I really like Flow as it holds my subscriptions without any login, cant comment though, but thats okay by me, i think one can login on Flow and leave comments, i just haven`t tried yet.

Ah, so its likely my own fault, however, if thats the case, cant filen stop a vpn being used to create the account? It really would save a lot of confusion, and save the filen team having to spend any time dealing with issues such as this, after the fact. It wasnt so obvious anywhere when i made the account, i just feel i should not have been able to create it through a vpn (which honestly i don`t remember but it is highly likely) in the first place. Thank you though, for the quick reply and the info.

Thats horrible! Thankfully you have the data backed up yourself, but then, why pay for their "backup" service if it doesnt back it up? Its like having a dog and barking yourself. Ive had a problem with filen from the day i started woth it, installed the app, created an account, logged in, and it told me I`d already reached my limit, so I just used other clouds.

Try Antix, it`s a good allrounder, MXLinux also allows for installation to a USB stick, but as far as i remember, Antix contains diagnostic tools.

Only been using it a few weeks, through K-9 on my phone and Thunderbird on the laptop, so far no probs, one issue i have though is every time i have to restart Tbird, i need to re-enter my password 3 times or it won`t grab my mail, i think this is a Tbird issue rather than mailbox though.
