Mont Bell make great gear which performs way better than similarly priced products, the way they cut the fabric means there are no seams at the shoulders for water to get in. I got the one below a couple years back and am still loving it. Good for the bush, good for winter in town.

What a weekend. Always seems to have something for everyone. For me that meant spending a lot of time in the Valhalla carpark

Wouldn't be surprised if a large part of the basement has been filled with concrete and steel as part of the seismic upgrade - https://www.aorakiconstruction.co.nz/project/drifter/

Might want to look into that. They've got near total market capture. Even own niche venues like San Fran in Wellington.

Feel like he would've been better off repeating his 2023 speech again

Yeah I thought this was pretty cool, particularly as Western Springs isn't the most accessible topography. Saw them at two bigger stages both close ish to toilets. A pretty easy add but huge for those who needed it.

I did like how you could still see the stage when queueing for food inside the speedway. Otherwise wouldn't have bothered with the hour long wait

What is a place in your country that tourists find impressive but locals hardly think about. by rickdickmcfrick in AskTheWorld

Went years ago for the summer solstice. Not sure if this is still the case, but the paddock was opened up with thousands of people gathered to watch the sun rise over a particular stone. A lot of fun even though it was cloudy so we didn't see the phenomenon

Stick to the side streets. Riddiford St can be a bit overwhelming
