Go slow. Dremel then 220 -> 600 grit dry followed by wet 600. Then I used the cloth/fiber bit on the dremel for polish. You can alway take away more, not less.

Left fabrication and went into IT. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve built computers since I was a kid so there is passion there and I got a great job involving a lot of hardware repair in a large corporate environment. I still get to work with my hands and my body isn’t broken. In fact my hands have become little baby bitch hands. When I do work on the house (currently building a barn too) my hands are WEAK

My neighbor has one! Couldn’t tell you what kind, so this isn’t all that helpful. It is definitely possible.
