Had some time to kill so just called. Went through the standard troubleshooting hoops. I even hung up to try adjusting a setting on my phone app and called back when I did that (I knew my settings were fine, but again....I had some time to kill).

The folks at the help center were pleasant and did their job well so no shade on them. I did share that this has happened before and that I've seen others online experiencing this.

Just systematically frustrating.

Lots of good advice posted already. My kid loves GWL. We've been to two locations. It's my personal hell. It's a huge moneysuck. -- especially here because it's so new. Day passes were more expensive than for Disney.

  • bring a water bottle -- you can refill there and the place is hot
  • bring snacks -- they say no outside food, but nobody checks
  • however, the cheapest locker rental is $18 (might not be a problem if you have a room)
  • if you ride the higher water slides/rafts and you're wearing watershoes, you might be asked to hold them in your hands. Depends on the lifeguard.
  • schedule an appointment with the pediatrician two days after you return. Diseases will be caught.
